My Day/Date doesn't have this problem... but the 15 is slightly crooked on mine, too. But you don't really see it if you don't look at it very closely. Doesn't bug me.
Never underestimate German customs... I would say the risk is higher than 50% that your watch gets caught. They X-ray everything (even registered letters) and watches are an easy target.
Hi!
Take a look here: http://www.precioustime-uk.com/
There are no prices, but you can ask PT, he'll tell you the price (send a PM to "Precious Time aka PT").

Hi!
Welcome to RWG!
If you're question is "Is it allowed to buy replicas in Germany?" then the answer is NO...
If you want to buy a rep, talk to the EU dealers (e.g. Precious Time, Naarika), you find them in the dealer's section. Inside EU there are no customs issues, so you should be safe.
German customs are probably the strictest in the world, so don't even think about buying reps from outside EU...

Yes, it will fit. I fitted a gen SDR bezel to my U1 rep without problems. They go for more than 200 new... and you can definitely see the difference to the rep bezel!
No idea if this is of interest - so I'll just post it, I guess those are hard to find:

Price is 150 euros.
LOL... learned something again today! I would definitely have said this is a rep, because of that typo... Funny!
After all, those "mistakes" often increase the value for collectors - think of famous stamp misprints...
Well, my Day/Date certainly looks better... the edges of the subdials look strange. But maybe it's just a bit a glue residue that could be removed with a piece of Rodico. You can ask your dealer for a new watch, but I think I'd rather have it fixed. A skilled watchmaker can fix all the problems you mentioned for sure.
But - I agree - this is bad QC and the blurry pics are a joke! I definitely wouldn't buy from that dealer again if I had received a watch like this.

I also like to have boxes for my reps - just makes it complete somehow. Don't care about "papers" though...
The rep Omega boxes are quite good btw, at least the one I have. So not all rep boxes are crap.
Nice... wear it well!
I've had that before... only it wasn't... "AAA", I mean... Unless that means something different in China, like "looked at it three times and didn't see any issue"... lol
Thanks, Cats - I'll try to get a refund. Wasn't much, but anyway... the auction is a bit misleading...
Can you send me a link for those endlink sales on the German Rolex forum you mentioned? I can't find them unfortunately...
Cheers,
W.
Edit: Thanks for clarifying, alligoat! So the are in fact for a Sub bracelet... I thought so.
Hey Sixx,
crown should be 42184ST, tube X12870 - both for the 45.5mm version. But double-check, please! And I'm not sure about the stem...
I hope you don't want to mod the UPO you bought from me, because it already has a gen crown and tube...
Cheers,
Whatever
Hi!
I have an old Submariner rep with very bad endlink fitting. Before giving the watch as a present to a friend, I thought I try some aftermarket endlinks. There are quite cheap ones on thebay... so I bought them. Title said "Rolex 'Oyster/Submariner' Link SS Band Ends". There was only one pic taken from above and I didn't get it... anyway, I was quite surprised to find this in the mail:
The seller has a lot of good feedback, so I tend to think it's my mistake... So for what kind of Submariner bracelet are those endlinks???
Thanks,
Whatever
