  1. That pendulum thing is amazing... TH really seems to be one of the biggest innovators in the industry.
  2. Hmm, I found this part list: But the dials are only mentioned for ofrei, not for Cousins. So do you get the dials from Cousins? I still haven't found them...
  3. Hi! The strap still attracts some dust - but I've definitely seen worse rubber straps. It's OK for me. And for 30 Euros it's probably worth a shot... Cheers, W.
  4. Can I get that dial at Cousins UK, too? I really don't get along with their website search... If yes - how the heck do I find it on the website?
  5. Hi, I always loved the Sinn U1 - and when I found one in RGs sales area for under 100 Euros I jumped on it... I think it's a pretty good rep, AR is great and it seems to be really close to the gen. Unfortunately the bezel isn't very good. The painted numbers somehow scream "FAKE"... As I liked the black bezel SDR version better anyway, I decided to buy a gen bezel. They go for 250 Euro... . Well, I found a new one that was a bit cheaper but nontheless... quite an investment in a 100 Euro rep. But I think it was really worth it - the watch really looks gen now. And by the way, swapping the bezel was done in 2 minutes - unscrew the 4 tiny screws, take the old bezel off, fit the new one, screw tight again. Easy! What do you think? Cheers, Whatever123 P.S.: The rubber strap is gen, too - you get them for just 30 Euros (without the clasp)!
  6. OK - thanks, mate! I thought so too, just needed confirmation...
  7. Hi! Which dial is the correct black one for replacing the rep dial in my UPO 45.5mm: OME-2500-DIAL#1 or OME-2500-DIAL#3? http://www.ofrei.com/page1123.html Thanks, Whatever123
  8. It's not that easy... you get punished for importing fake products. The first time you only get a warning letter but you're "blacklisted" then. What they also do is inform the owner of the trademark, e.g. Panerai. Then you'll also get a letter from them warning you off... The next time they'll catch you, you will be prosecuted and maybe even sued by the trademark owner civilly. You'll have to proof somehow you didn't order that watch and this could become a little difficult. Maybe you can get out of that, but surely you don't want that kind of trouble... I've been through the first part (the warning letters) myself and I also know someone who has actually been prosecuted. He came off with a penalty. Cheers, Whatever
  9. If you intend to send a rep watch to Germany, DO NOT hide it inside something! German customs x-rays almost everything now and if they find you're hiding something, at least the adressee will be in a lot of trouble - and maybe even you. German customs are the strictest in Europe, if not worldwide - believe me, personal experience... The best way is of course to have someone relay it from Europe. Cheers, Whatever
  10. Very nice, Val! Ist that a Getat strap on the pics? Cheers, Whatever
  11. Oh, sorry to hear that the case had a worn out thread... I suppose it's the Fiddy I sold to you you're talking about? I didn't even take of the CG off once, so this is exactly how it came from PT... Cheers W.
  12. Hi guys, I am wondering if this is really an A7750. Please help me out. Thanks, W. P.S.: Sorry for the crappy pics...
  13. Great work and a hell of a watch... Also love that strap - what is it? Cheers, W.
  14. Really sorry to hear that... I am not religious but I wish your little daughter all the best and a speedy recovery! My thoughts are with her and your family!
  15. Hmm, the AR looks way to blueish.... but apart from that it seems really nice. Got more pics?
  16. Well, finally I also received my watch. Shpping time from France to Germany: 4 weeks... This is ridiculous - but I guess French postal service is to blame and not PrDubis. Communication with him was nice and friendly and I would definitely buy from him again. Thumbs up! Cheers, Whatever123
  17. You're truly an expert... I can see all the things you pointed out, nevertheless in doesn't bug me that much. I have seen quite some 111h replicas during the last few months and they all have their flaws. If one thing is better on a model, another one is off instead... When I've got the gen, I think I'll still be wearing this one on holidays. Cheers Whatever123
  18. Hi unreg, you're the expert... so what is wrong about the movement (except the "Officine Panerai" writing, which is obviously wrong)? Anyway, I know I won't get a perfect rep, that's why I am going for a gen 111. As soon as I've got the funds together... Cheers W.
  19. No... not really. This really looks too short - take a look at mine:
  20. It was a Pam 63 and I bought it a bit later (Dec. 31st). Cheers W.
  21. Let me think this over for a moment... er... no! No, serious: I am really sorry for your latest experience with Sead... and I am glad I was lucky with this one I bought from a fellow UK member. Cheers W.
  22. Not nice, really not nice... Sorry to hear, Deniz!
