  1. Floyd mate what happened did she drop her lighter !!! And I warned ou about taking pics through my blinds !!!
  2. + 1 Totally agree, its a great tool for us all and helps with the old and trusted addage ' buy the seller not the watch' )
  3. I culd buy a pair of hand made Italian shoes with that or maybe just the one and save up for the other !!!
  4. :D The Italians spell everything with their hands !!! So one little "i" wouldnt be noticed
  5. Although with the B&Rs generally if you go for the better version with a white dial then AR wouldnt be needed
  6. Sorry mate I just heard the page ! I shall go to the white phone now
  7. Hike might be able to help you to
  8. Love the MM and destro...Sweet Given where I am going with the 267 I might be letting go of my LH destro movement
  9. There is something about destros that just make me drool !!! Sweet watch thanks for the pics There is a fantastic one on the sales forum I believe !!
  10. Strangely enough its a very odd brown for OP, it seems much darker than say a gen 36 etc. I am not sure why its darker than what you might say is the normal OP brown. I think you can see that in the first gen pic I posted... But like you Doc the brown dial really does it for me, the 36 was always a love of mine just the Ti , I really like the 47s and my grail had always been the Uber 217 as the MM dial was my favorite and had there been a good 203 rep I would own it as its the best of both but to have a 47mm MM brown hits every button for me personally I never had the 267 as a grail, as to me a grail has to be achievable at least in part so mine was the Franken 217 but now I have this.... So all my gen 217 parts are going on this dial and the gen 217 dial has to go
  11. If you go down to dealers section all the links are there for "safe" purchases.... Most dealers dont do PP anymore but a few of the smaller ones do like Trevor, Mary, Replica make etc etc Yes is the answer to your last question
  12. Captain ... I do like that pic especially the setting or rather positioning of the watch in the shot The lighting really works for me

  16. http://www.watch-id.com/ http://watchesinmovies.info/ http://www.famouspeoplewatches.com/ http://coolspotters.com/products/watches http://www.orolus.com/celebritywatches.shtml http://famewatcher.com/category/celebrity-watches
  17. Marty, mate you dont have say briefly !! We take that as read
  18. As mentioned before...there is more to this story than I would care to admit but it would be too embarrassing for me... Much as I would like to tell you all... how astute and clever I was in sourcing this and getting it for the price of a Gen 217 dial and hands but I cant.. But basically it was blind stupidity brought on by not paying attention !!! Fortunately sometimes it pays to be stupid! At least for once I proved my Dad wrong !!!
  19. Reading this back I should say sorry Buyer's we are not laughing at you mate, but I am laughing at that assumption though I am sure its not meant in the way I took it. Myself and Babola always enjoy a joke and taking the mick out of each other IMHO I believe there are only 6-8 experts who are currently regulars on here who I would call PAM experts there are a further 6-8 experts that aren't regular users. Then, and again IMHO, there are about 8-10 who know a lot about PAMs generally and a lot more on specific models or types. Then there are the rest of us at various levels of knowledge but by no means experts. Thats why I say 'I will get my coat' if its an expert opinion someone is after from me.
  20. I have seen a few for sale on here and Risti Being a Ferrari Got to be LOUD !!!!
  21. Marty I am sorry to hear your news mate, I hope things work out for you I think a lot of guys would welcome your help, I know I would for one. But can I suggest you dont offer an open service till you have got yourself into a system etc You know what I mean I hope, as much as your offer is generous it could be taken advantage of if things dont go quite according to plan I am trying to be subtle and hopefully you know what I mean as subtleness isnt always a strong point for me, though I try!! God how I try !!
  22. Its always difficult to know when you oinly see the dealers info and pics.. I wonder if we could use the Draw competition to try and acquire these sorts of less popular or less bought watches, do a review then put them up as the prizes!! What with dealers usually offering watches as prizes and the purchase of tickets by members we could use part of the funds to purchase and even if dealers wont give us the latest watches maybe they might give high discounts. Members could vote for a top five of latest rep watches or even ten and all can then vote to decide on the top choices in order, the more discount and funds raised the more top choices can be bought reviewed then won by the lucky ticket holder !! Hope that makes sense, just a thought. dont burn me
  23. Overall I have to agree with the comments above, this is a great rep.... Not being a Rad guy myself I dont like it but the accuracy is certainly moved up a level and looks good if its a sign of whats to come If I could just see the same quality in the manual casesets then things will be on a different level next year :)
  24. One of the great things about this hobby is it can make you laugh.... And this interview is a great example of what makes this hobby so great !!....
  25. Funnily enough already seen a gen movement This will need to be 'OOR' Stefan
