I have been searching for forums that I can post on for info on a clock I have, but I seem to keep getting more of link lists and blogs rather than a decent forum. Does anyone have a good Grandfather Clock resource or forum they could recommend please? Here is the clock for yor info

I have tried the usual routes using the search tool in general and help forums. I tried re-reading all the info for noobs by TT and Edge etc but still I cant see a list of Member Titles, Is there one??? Re-reading the noob stuff was very useful and reminded me it never hurts to go back and read the info there, its still a very useful tool for reminding and teaching stuff you never took in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th time of reading!!! If you havent read these threads I really recommend you do and if you have but havent looked at it in a while then go back..... it might just surprise you Anyway back to the point -- Member Titles, a list...Is there??

Is there something new about the pearl? It looks much cleaner around the edges or is that the angle? Just dont look like my 2 Noob pearls

Depressing on the sub dial hands, I was just having mine modded!! I cant tell from pics but are these coned like the gen or flat like the current reps? Anyone know?

I think we hoped for more but its still better than we had.... It will be interesting to see one from a members pics...even Andrews aint great and the CG lever looks terrible for a sales shot !! Given the feedback I know he has had.

I do like the White dial but I am strugling to find decent info on the gens. I will keep looking as always, the gen site only shows the black dial version as current. Thanks for thepic and comments Pizzanoo Much appreciated Has anyone got a wristie please if its no bother

Truth is in my younger days I used to dress like a Clockwork Orange along with a few mates.... We would do everything in nadsat etc I love the film, the books (as there were 3), and the music I still blast a bit of the glorious 9th alone in the car!! Takes me back to another lifetime !! Though I was more into Sham69 and the Cockney Rejects then. I still have most of the gear, the bowler, the jockstrap, braces and a shirt with the sewn in eyes etc, which I sometimes dust off for the odd fancy dress. My favourite piece is still my special hunting stick!! I keep that in my car for old times sake!! The sig pcture and wording above is based on the same (Alex being the main character) apart from the saying at the bottom which refers to an old motto - 'The Devil burns with us' Both were big parts of my life and influenced the person I am now

Yes they can be problematic and are really just dressed to match a gen movement. Stick with the 2836 mate

Looks fine mate, what you suggest wont be considered a big issue by the dealers. Thats better than most, the ones you have seen may well of been slightly adjusted by the owners

It would appear the only one on offer thats not a fantasy and/or really poor accuracy is the one pictured above But I will keep looking Thanks for all your help

Thanks Max and Mike I really appreciate the replies I had never seen these before today but when scanning the new PAMs I saw one as a new release, I thought WOW! thats a nice watch then incredibly I find out ts a 46mm!! To good to be true a big watch with great looks so I assumed it must be very inaccurate if its the right size and I like it....!! I also like the look of the bracelet I dont have anything like that. I really like the blue dial and the RG bezel version with white dial...I have started looking about now.... I think I have found my next purchase but at $400 or so I want to get it right Thanks again

Sorry mate I meant Super lume, its OK but not the best Again its good value though With that watch he was pretty quick he had it shipped to me within 3 days then another week to UK, very well packaged. The other PVD version took a week to get out to me Overall Tat was really helpful and communicative, nice guy to deal with. I had a problem on one of the watches I bought from him and he sent out replacement parts straight away no quibbling so I know his CS is good after sale as well !! He offered as well to replace it complete but I was happy with just the parts

I can usually only tell by the screws etc when compared with the good quality rep bracelets. Could he not take it out the bag for the pics ?

Dont use the F word we are much to refined for that!!! I personally went for the Getat and was very happy with the quality for the price. I had him SL it and do a high CP mod. I think he will remove AR too but I did that myself when I got it. I also liked his strap but it was too small so if you have big wrists ask him if he has bigger ones. I also got the PVD version which I preferred. I also got the Skeleton movement which was a nice touch with the display caseback.

Given these are more Homages mate...What are you looking for from them. Quality? Flexibility (incase you want to use the parts later on)? Or do you just like this look?
