Thats what makes this hobby so interesting and being here feeds your interest and opens other doors to tastes that you might not realise you have. I think being able to understand some watches as well as enjoy their looks helps increase their attractiveness and wearability Thats what this community does so well by bringing together all those tastes and helps create an understanding of so many watches and brands that will always make your tastes change, vary or just enjoy

I am not sure but are you asking for a GMT with black dial? Or a Firenze 228 with blackdial? If its the latter then no unless you find someone doing a fantasy model. For GMT you have loads of options. If you are after a fantasy then I think Andrew does an 88 with black subdial and dial thats about the closest fantasy I have seen to what you may be looking for. Just ask a member friend to recieve from Zig and send on to you Its quite common practice for guys in Germany and Italy. PLus if made the effort to send to Zig I would want him to lume it as well so I wouldnt transplant personally.

Sometimes it referred to as OOR (Out Of Range) You can still work out the S/N from the BB and release quantity. You tend to find OP release/d models for promotional purposes, (gifts, competition, sponsorship etc) They also produced prototypes and pre release models which ended up with staff or customers etc and then move into the open market. Just because the range might say 500 there could be 525, though usally this info is available from various sources

Its all sorts of reasons for me and a few have been mentioned above.... but I must be honest for me if someone walked up and offered me the gen for decent money or I could afford it...I still would not buy it It reminds of everything negative about that other community and the way this watch has really brought that negativity to the forefront... its a jonah to me. I know how excited you have been about getting this so I am pleased for you...Wear it well Seems you were fortunate with the CG as its better than most Dont worry too much about the chrono button they can be stiff. Can I suggest that you think about getting it serviced... I know you dont want to take it off your wrist right now but give it some thought
