  1. If your not happy with your CG, though I am not sure why? Then send it to Domi or Zig depending. Overall the current ones dont really need much work however if your on about the lever protruding this is more related to the Oring in the crown being too big and the pin sleeve is very soft. The finish is very presentable without mods mate IMHO. Only the anal PAM guys would do mods And if your reading this then Yes D I am talking about you ..... No matter where you source the CG, if you can, it will always need modding in some way!
  2. That means that the EL/Gen/ old skool 127 and 217 are female..... I am always learning on here..... RWG is a great place to be !!
  3. Very nice buys.... theres something about those older Seikos. I have an old one I got that I bought on eBay and I still am not sure why!! But I was drawn to it.... Without getting too technical how do you know they are female?
  4. Sweet offer mate Now where can I buy an IWC watsit!!!
  5. I spoke to Jacob direct...he can make Gummy strap in whatever finish you want but you need to send him your HB strap and he mods this with overcoat leather etc. I have ordered and sent him a spare rubber HB strap ..... I also have a BB HB Alligator from Jacob for my RG from Dutchy but I got one made for my HB BB King by Dangerous (John) This is aslideshow of John making it.... Great guy andmuch cheaper than most )))

    Newbie

It would be much more useful if you could narrow done the type of model your after. Can I suggest you do some research on this section and the review and dealers feed back sections. But I can say I dont know of any good PAMs for less than $200
  8. Awesome work mate. A long and frustrating process I am sure but the satisfaction of the result must make it feel worth it
  9. Thank God for the voices of sanity!!!!! I was on RG the other day and there are guys there looking to put mesh on PAMs!!! I mean I know these forums get their fairshare of spammers but I never new there would be so many spam heads!! The 236 I think is a nice change but for me its go to 250 with a gen Alli everytime Though I do like Sql's middle pic strap
  10. Idoubt you will find one of the ETz inserts but if you contact Trevor or Andrew/Josh or PWC they can get you the insert for DSSD. I would suggest the Noobfactory version for the V5 from Josh/Andrew. The otherswill fit but Ithink Trevors might need rubbing down a bit to sit properly with the crystal. The insert comes with the fixing tape but makesure you ask for the pearl as I think PWC (Rob) doesnt supply unless you ask..
  11. If you get too pushy with her you might end up with an eye to match the watch Then you really will be in sync !!
  12. There has been a lot of guys tried this with varying degrees of success. I take it from your question you are not an engraver..?
  13. You realise we are talking watches not Kids !!!
  14. I think on the whole it represents a fair range of decent watches, however with any style magazine I think there is a heavy influence from the watch makers/advertising revenue source rather than the writers objectiveness! Whether its a fair reflection of their readers aspirations I doubt. In the first paragraph I notice that lack of understanding by the phrase ....."some with new movements produced-house.." !!!!! I think thats bourne out in the descriptions made and the choice for example on one based on nothing more than the bright red chrono hand!!
  15. I think for me it was this one, as its sentimental value, as my first franken and remembering the feeling I got once it was complete....
  16. I dont know about the injury and long term result of putting it right. But I know only too well how that sickly feeling is as it twists in side your stomach and I really feel for you mate. The one thing I learnt or rather remembered was that at that age kids are very resilient and will quickly adapt to the process to get his lip and mouth right again. It is us adults that tend to worry too much. I am sure in this day and age of specialist dental and facial work that as Andy says it may be expensive but everything will be fine and when you look back on this with him when he is older, it will only be a memory! I wish your son and your family every good wish for a speedy recovery and a positive outcome to the injury. It will take a while for that feeling in your stomach to go but dont worry it will especially once the process of recovery begins
  17. Looks like a lot of fiddly work for you but your effort is great Those are great pics to show the comaparison and it looks like you have the makings of your goal Look forward to reading the update and the seeing the final assembly Thanks for taking the time and for sharing
