I was going through some old threads here catching up on things posted when I was away. I saw a thread by my old mate Mr. R, he was asking about dial texture. Anyway I thought I would take some pics to send him. I got the watch out and took a few pics but when I looked at them I noticed how the shadow of the camera had caused the lume to light up even in the bright daylight I mean I know how much the lume can do this but just the way a very insignificant and small shadow can bring it out!! I also love staring at that logo !! This is the most simple dial faced PAM I own and I always ask myself when I occasionally wear it why I dont wear it more often??!!! For me it sums up what a PAM is all about :) It drove home to me how much I really enjoy the lume of the PAMs (sad maybe but I blame RWG for creating me that way !! ) and how fascinating various angles can be in varying lights. Here are a few pics, I wish I had the skills of a lot of you guys to really show off this great aspect of the PAMs. Plus a few of the dial texture just for Rob

Thanks guys I will stick with what I have got. I will swap the ETA 2836 I have into another watch I have running the Asian 2836. And will start again with a rep B&R running a 2892 and put the other ETA in that. Thanks again

Would anybody be kind enough , if they know, if I would be able to swap a DW off a 4813 onto an ETA 2386? I have a rep B&R 03-01 running a 4813 movement. I really want to swap an ETA 2836 into it but wanted to know if I could swap the DWs over or rather off the 4813. The 2836 DW I have is a black over white whereas the 4813 has a white over black which is more correct for the model. I would rather not want to start taking it apart unless I am prepared. If not would I have an alternative movement to the 4813 to give me a less jerky movement to the secs hand similar to the 2836? Any advice would be appreciated or a suitable link, Thank you

They can all get them with 2836-2 just ask. Trevor has them for example or Polo etc etc Trevor was a lot cheaper

Now thats funny!! And it took a few posts for someone to state the obvious. Apparently on the Heritage its not lumed at all due to the beige colouring but I have read various accounts on the B&R forums that are about. Yes mate its one of John's, I have him doing a couple more B&R straps plus others for my other watches now. Great bloke I tend to use the non affiliated B&R forums so dont go on that one much.... @boug - obviously I didnt make my point on the 2836 enough for you

With the lume, as a gen yes it is poor though the latest ones are much much better as is overall QC which B&R always suffered badly with, but the lume compared to the rep thats another story @boug - that one went over my head mate ??
