Hi Frank, yesterday I received my strap and it's superb (and no worry about the bracelet). The buckle is the same like portuguese so my AD sent and brushed SS buckle instead the TI (the standard with amg strap). Spanish prices are 190eur for the strap and 65 for the bucke, expensive but worth the money. quick shot with my treo:

TI or SS IWC aquatimer gets my vote !!!! make the case and the rotating bezel and put inside a 2836, that's easy.

Straps update: I was talking with Mac@BOB and he could supply us the nylon strap like AMG-original but cost depends of quantity ordered (he needs to make a special tool to make the strap). Prices starts at 20EUR (for 50 straps) to 70EUR for 20, more or less. Production time is about 12 weeks. We must find buckles too, but I think the Portuguese buckle is the same, anyone could confirm that? What do you think guys?

@RT: what's about non-chrono aquatimer with real titanium and ar-coating crystal? (I only saw cheapo reps)...

well, not exactly kevlar. Surfing of the net I found that only Ingy-AMG comes with strap: nylon with leather lining and tang bucle (easy to find, I remember Andy Timeman had some of these). Check the pics:

Just receive 2 packages from Jay. Mine was open and watch is perfect, no issues found, dial, hands and bracelet perfects. The other watch will be forwarded to shultz tomorrow. Thanks Jay and RT. By the way, I fond the bracelet very fragile (specially the clasp), so wath do you think about my proposal?: we could contact with Aaron or Marcus (bob straps) to ask for a number of kevlar//leather straps with or without buckle considering the high price of the OEM. Any thoughts guys?

I have one, Gabo is a really nice guy to deal with and the strap is so cool but I prefer MF 1942, both strap gets a nice tan color with the time, Gabo strap is slightly ticker but MF cost 1/2 than Gabo. Hope this helps. edited: forgot to mention, Gabo leather is stronger than MF and makes MF more comfortable to wear.

For me is the better LV sub I could do (with the help of PalpaTommy). We use two MBW LVs, the older for case, cristal and bezel y the newest for movement, dial and bracelet plus original pearl and original tube and crown (CGs job done by Palp). Check the thickness of the cristal and the bezel, the deep redhaut and the superb crown. Definitively a keeper
