  1. Oli is correct, is the same assembly like rolex, the only way is to screw in both screws, turn the movement till the first screw will be aligned with the stem and unscrew it, continue turning the movement untill the second screw is aligned too and repeat the tip. Easy.
  2. Yip, only acetone and toothbrush. After that I polish the case with 2 tools of my dremel.
  3. ? I don't need a 1680 nor the crystal, I only need a gen bezel... Have you one to sell? (of course only the bezel not the whole watch) Thanks
  4. Just receive this 1665 from Paso (a true gentlement). I notice that DW was the same used by MBW in the past but the watch deserves one surprise when I opened: inside there was a 2846... I start to make some mods on the steel, just for fun Lugholes Aging the caseback (acetone+dremel) Crown guards Hev Now time to polish and to find a gen bezel... anybody has one ready to sell? Cheers Toni
  5. To release the stem on your 1570 just unscrew the screw located in your second pic 3 degrees below the stem. By the way, could you confirm us that no work is need to put the 1570 movement in a Mbw case... thanks in advance,+ toni
  6. Damn Paul, what a beauty... Congrats
  7. Can I play? even be mid-week wristcheck. Who has the best LV sub? :bleh: :bleh: just returned my coolpix 4500
  8. Congrats mate, I'm sooo tempted but have you any intention to make a correct patek DW?
  9. Thanks for sharing, is a very interesting watch. I had the Ed version past year and overall quality was good but the date wheel was the standard and the dial was too plain (the hobnail dial in that PP jump to the eyes). Only two questions: the datewheel is similar to gen (maybe this MBW has a glued overlay just like the others MBW)? and the crown seems bigger than gen and the previous reps I know but is possible that could be due the angle of the pics? thanks again
  10. 100% agree with Kruzer00. Mine is ordered right now
  11. Agree with lesson 1 in economics, less price more quantity... but I don't know you guys, this fora was plenty of compliments to Angus for the way to develop this watch, IMO was a great effort for all of us (the maker, Angus, we -the WIS-), agree that price is high but part of that price is the payback for the R&D done with us to achive a soooo close rep. This rep worth the money? well, it's depends: for 400 bucks you could buy a nice gen of course, but you could buy too a lot of cokes, a couple of shirts, maybe 500 condoms... but for you couldn't buy a IWC Chrono Cousteau watch. That's the matter. We are talking about 120-150 usd of difference between the "normal" reps and this high-end rep (if a rep could be considered high-eng ). IMHO I'm ready to pay again 100 bucks to enjoy the next development of that kind of watches... specially if the makers could get this degree of finish in the watch (considering, just like Chubb says, that overall quality between gen and rep never could be the same) Just my 0,02
  12. Today: Tomorrow: Start of the week:
  13. Maradona always carry one in each wrist, why not Ubi?
  14. what flaws? seems gen to me
  15. Those who ordered from king are still waiting... just like us
  16. Excellent, I was waiting this post since my start in RWG and TRC. Awesome job. Thanks
  17. and this one... with the same "human" hands
  18. mmmmm, i remember to see some pictures of that watch here or at TRC some time ago...
  19. Long waited aquatimer. seems a keeper for sure. I hope the watch makers start to replicate the entire line of aquatimers
  20. Not great pics, I use my wife's ixus w/o box or adjust but you could see the details. As I told before seconds @ 9 doesn’t bother me, I love the watch due his design, the massive case, the rubber pushers... The feeling of the watch is very very nice, close to the gen (I tried it).
  21. I think that Paul and I are the only guys here who has the mbw version or at least the the only who has the ROO with finepic's relumed hands. Seconds @9 doesn’t bother me too. Go for it mate, it's one of the must have. FYI I don't swap the movement and runs like a champ.
