  1. Muchas felicidades!!!!! Wish you a nice birthday, happiness, health and more daytonas
  2. Wednesday my new aerospace (with nato of course) Thursday my 6265 (pictured with bracelet but probably with nato).
  3. Same problem on Phong's cases, you need a 1500 (date) movement to fit in. Datejust has a different plate for the day wheel and needs to be machined before Hope this helps.
  4. Gen dial IMHO, this is the latest batch of luminova dials to be used servicing olds 6263/5
  5. Congrats Stephane, I know that watch very well and this one and it's the state of the art in Oli's works Enjoy it!
  6. ooops, as far as I know there's no metal spacer beneath the insert, the spacer is between bezel and crystal retaining ring. Insert sits slightly lower than bezel in this one as well as in my others (gen and reps). (IMHO, of course)
  7. I was there past week and I'm sorry to tell you that IMO was a myth. Reps are low grade chinese fakes and located just in one market (can't remember the name) and gens was more expensive than in Europe. Was trying to find a well-priced gen aquanaut but only found it at MSRP, as well as rolex...
  8. Ok, thank you very much mate. I'll try
  9. Hi all, Will be in Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Muscat last week of february and I'm planning to buy a breitling aerospace avantage (new or used). What's the best place (in terms of price) to buy that watch? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Toni
  10. accoding to my experience gen 1570 date wheels don't fit in MBW dials but runs great in Phong or NTD ones. Anyway if you need some measures from a gen dial just let me know... good luck with your project. p.s. we just need another project to make a perfect vintage dial.. any takers?
  11. Contratulations, all those 1665 highly modded with 1570 movements are the best IMHO. Just put a gen tritum hands and you will get one-of-a-kind watch. Well done mate!
  12. Well, I am thinking to sell one or two of my frankens to buy a new deepsea and I spend this week changing between this three... 1665 GW 1665 DR 6265

  14. Cant' resist: Comex 1665 (phong case, 1570 mvt and gen crystal and bezel), nice watch but gone ;( DR 1665 (viet case and NTD dial vintagized by Repaustria, rest gen including fadded bezel and bracelet) GW 1665 (viet case, rest gen) 6265 (viet case and walmann movement, rest gen including dial, hands and gen folded 7385 bracelet not shown) By the way: are there any buddy interested on change my 7835 bracelet for a oyster 78350 (gen of course)?????? best, Toni

  18. Damn, I need that Marina Militare for live... please let me know when you consider to sell it best, Toni
  19. LOL, same thing happend with my wife, she was fighting me for buy a new rolex while I'm trying to explain her that was a franken :D
  20. Nope, that's not my point. I meant that a scoring system could be very difficult to use just because diferent watches needs differents mods to be consider a franken. Your could apply a score to a rolex and get a franken but applying this score your could obtain a very low rated panerai even if this one is more difficult to detect as fake. Change my mind: a franken is a watch which you can use to go into a "high-end" AD and get nothing but compliments...
