Guys, Im not concerned about Domi or his work. I am concerned however, when I see posts dissapear (i cant figure a way to delete posts). What you need to remember, is that to a large extent, many people are dealing with and sending expensive items to people who they have never met. To those who have already have had work done, then yes, Im sure they see no reason to worry, but to thos who havn't, until the first job is complete, it is only natural to worry and question. By no means is this a shot at Domi. I trust him fully. But everyone has the right to question, if they see something strange. In this case, it looks to have had a fully valid reason. Just trying to look out for fellow RWG members.

yeah mate. I wouldn't worry. I also have a UPO for Franken work, service and AR and mines been with Dominico since the middle of march. I'm sure he is just really busy and not had much time to reply to e-mails. It wont be long I'm sure, before we both have our new Frankens

Hi, I've been looking to add a Swiss ETA Steelfish to my collection, but my dealer has informed me that he can no longer get the "best" version. Didn't realise there was more than one version of the swiss SOSF rep, other than the one with the arrow seconds hand? Any ideas guys? Basically, I'm looking for the best (arent we all, ha!) rep version of the SOSF with the swiss ETA movement. Any guidance would be gratefully recieved.

Anyone got any suggestions as to the cheapest place to get a new ETA 7750 movement guys? Looking to swap out the Asian 7750s I got in my Skyland and my Ebel 1911.

Was gonna buy the hands too, but then I figured that the lume on the hands aint to dissimilar from that of the gen to be honest, so decided to give them a miss. There is only so much money I can spend. haha!

A few weeks ago, I read a thread which discussed at one point, how you could tell the difference between the Asian and Swiss UPO datewheels. Something about the swiss movmenent having a "flat" number 4 etc.... Anyhoo, I've tried to finfd the thread, but to no avail. Any of you guys seen it around or indeed able to confirm how you can tell the difference from the datewheel? Cheers C

Just thought I'd post a few photos of my "work-in-progress" Franken UPO. Mods being done include: -Genuine Dial -Replacement crown and tube -AR re-work (stock AR on UPO only one sided and very poor IMHO) -Full movement service (as we all know, the swiss movements normally need servicing as oils have dried up etc) -Water proofing.

Andreww - The V2 came with a swiss movement and was quite a bit more expensive if I remember right yeah? They still available, the V2 that is?

Lani, does this mean Domi or someone has a Chief AR'd crystal that I could use? If so, Domi could fit and I would send my crystal to Chief or whoever? Still trying to get my head around the rotation idea! haha.

Just bought a gen dial, crown and tube for UPO. waiting for the parts to arrive, then it's off to Dom in Germany for some mod work and new AR.

Happy feet fix - Not that obvious, but does bug some people AR - New watch defo needs the double AR coating to look the part. This is what makes the PO in my humble opinion. Bezel - A few minor inconsistencies with the bezel, but now I'm nit picking. If they can get the above correct, I'm sure there will be a load of takers.
