Cheers Rosnik. Do you know which e-mail address he uses for Paypal?

Hi all, Anybody know if Domi has a new e-mail address? Just tried to e-mail him and it got return message error....

Josh has the 005k back in stock mate, if you still on the lookout for one..

"Would attract each eye"????

Anyone recently recieved their 005K from Josh?

Back in stock now... -
Hmm, the 005K has the asian repped 6497-2 in it tho? Speeing seconds hand shouldnt be a problem. And when you say noisy, what element is noisy? Is it the "ticking"?

Hi all, As the title states,, anyone recently recieved their 005K from Josh? Ordered mine a month ago and still no sign of QC pics. I e-mailed him to ask curent state of play and he mentioned that he waiting on stock. I thought new stock had already arrived? Anybody got a clue? C

Although not perfect by any means ([censored] pearl and single sided AR), the latest 45 UPO from Josh would be your best bet. No happy feet etc. Not sure on the Anti counterfeit logo tho. I could have sworn i saw photos where it was missing. Could be wrong. But hey, they deliberately "miss" certain details to keep us coming back to buy later versions...

The earlier 1680 model has a slow beat movement (as per gen) and the latter has a 28800 movement. The earlier version is the better of the two IMHO. Earlier version has a better case too.

Guys, I agree with you all that BK YM is the best version out there, but what can this guy buy in the absence of the BK YM? There are loads of different reps out there of this par6ticular piece. Surely one in particular stands out as "second best"? I would love a BK YM, but the price tag is something I cant swallow taking into account current finances....

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement dial that will accomodate a gen 7753 and Taka datewheel?
-
Hi all. Got a price from Beco today, and as Andy states, it costs 345 euro (377 delivered). Don't know whether we can get a better option to this? We gonna need to take into account that the movement will also need H3 pinion and hour wheel. Overall, it's looking like a pricey mod.

Got a hand made strap from Toshi straps (here in UK) and it's amazing. Dont know if he does alligator mind..

Not yet, but then again I only placed the order this afternoon. Wil let you guys know outcome. Hope parts for repairs arent as hard to come by.
-
I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I hear something back from them. I've put in a provisional order, so lets see what comes of it. My only concern was that I saw "Lepine" in the description, which to my knowledge is a pocket watch? If so, wasn't sure whether dimensions etc would be slightly different... etc

Hi all, Been having a bit of a trawl around, and found this: http://www.beco-professionals.com/product_info.php?info=p26973_AU-Werk-ETA-UNITAS-6497-2-H1-16-1-2----SS-L--pine-MECH-HW-running-time-56-h-21-600-A-h.html Would this movement bu useable for the 005?

Cheers for the info Lofi. I'm buying the new 005k from Josh, so does this have the same issue with te cannon pin diameter? In all honesty, I was a little naive to think that a 6497-2 would be a straight swap into this particular watch with no other mods needed. Alas, we bloody wish! Thanks cougaree. Who sells the replacement dials for the 236? This is all well apppreciate btw guys. Looks like I'm having a baptism of fire into the world of PAM mods!
-
Cheers for info mate. So, are the gen 005 using a slow beat movement? BTW, I seen on one of your last posts you were looking into possibility of bulk buying in some 6497-2s,.. Keep me posted Takashi (2geek) does aftermarket PAM style date wheels for the ETA 7753, so hopefully the datewheel issue is now sorted for me. .

Hi all, Got a few questions regarding fitting ETA movements to the newer PAM reps I was hoping you guys might be able to help with? Pam 236 Daylight: -Does this rep need to have an ETA with the H3 setup (not sure on dial thickness etc)? -Any idea where you can get a PAM style datewheel to install into the ETA? Heard there are a few contacts here on the board, but don't have their names... PAM 005 - Again, does the 6497-2 need to have H3 setup? - Anyone got a source for these movements? Iv'e tried my usual sources, but ETA seem to have stopped selling them to mass market . Schweinhunds! Cheers chaps!

Yeah, what happened to this new watch they were promising? Never surfaced?.........
-
Cheers guys. I'll need to find out whether the movement will need to have the H3 setup because the thickness of the watch, dial etc. Gonna ask Domi me thinks. Talking of movements, seen a few posts for people trying to get the 6497-2 movement for their 005s. Really tempted to buy one of the 005Ks, but with ETA recently limiting availability, might prove a pain in the ass to get one. Anyone had any luck to date?
