  1. could be interested, depending on price
  2. Cheer guys. Any idea what lume is used on the 236? Might get this to Domi soon if he can match the gen lume, as I already got a UPO project to ship to him for other bits and pieces..
  3. Hi all, Got a few questions I was hoping you PAM experts might be able to help me out with (I'm not a noob, but more of a Breitling fan so PAMs new to me): I'm looking to get my 236 daylight re-lumed, but I wasn't sure what lume mix they use on this watch? C1+C3? Any idea guys? Also, I'm looking for someone I can trust to do a good re-lume job for me that is based in the EU? I would send to Vac, but he not EU. I was contemplating Domi, but wasnt sure how good his lume work was, and whether he can source the right lume. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Last question is whether anyone knew whether it was possible to transplant a gen 7753 and maintain the correct date wheel? As always guys, I am forever in your debt for your good advice C.
  4. Hmm 45mm isnt as good by a long way, than the 42. Single sided AR and crap pearl. The casback is also wrong (no anti counterfeit marking). Its about time they upped their ante with the 45.
  5. Noticed today that the main chrono hand (seconds hand on normal watch)is only yellow in the tip. On the gen, the whole hand is yellow.....
  6. Would be great to see the SOSF back in production. Definitely one of the nicer looking breitlings.
  7. Hi all, Well, after owning the new 236 daylight for a few weeks now, I'm looking at purchasing another PAM rep. This time the 286J. http://www.1-pc8838.com/0pn286j01-286j-regetta-ratt-chrono-ssru-2880-p-9716.html I'm more knowledgeable on the breitlings, Omega and Rolex brands, but know very little about the Panerai brand if i'm honest. Anyone care to suggest what they think the rep is like compared to the gen? C.
  8. Hi Concepta. How much for a dial and a set of hands?
  9. I own a gen of this watch (No. 777 of 1000) and I must say that this is a v good rep. Dial is great (especially the lume dots that they finally fixed on this version of the skyland).Only flaws I can see are: - AR - More purplish on the gen than blue - 1@15 - It's got the V3 Bezel numbering with the incorrect 1. - "Swiss Made" missing on dial. - Caseback incorrect. Should have part of the case back stamped with Edition Limitie 777/1000. Apart from these tells, It's a great copy for the money. Wear it well.
  10. Afternoon all! Hope you guys can shed a little light i have on my franken UPO. I got a UPO which was recently "frankened" with a gen dial, hands, crown and tube. All has been going great for over 6 months until recently, where now I am unable to screw the crown in. I press it down and try to screw and lock the crown but it pops up again. I guess something may have threaded? Is the thread inside the tube (as in I need a new tube) or what other part of the mechanism might I need to repair?? Tried so many times, I must have involuntarily wound the watch a hundre times, ha! Any suggestions would be great. Cheers guys C.
  11. Hi Guys, Was hoping you could pitch in on a question I have. Someone I know, is selling a gen submariner date (non ceramic version) with a random serial number type. I wasnt aware that such a watch existed, as the random serial numbers came in with the new ceramic sub? Although I do know some of the ceramic subs come with V serials... If such a watch does exists, were there that many produced do you think? Cheers Craig.
  12. Dial on this version looks nice. Noob version was always way too dark. Would be interesting to hear the rollie experts chime in on this version. Possibly a fair contender to the BK version?
  13. Both watches long gone mate.
  14. $200-300 is a lot of money to some people in these times mate.
  15. Hands too short. Pearl wrong, omega logo wrong. Im checking against my gen now and can't really see how this is an improvement as you still need to buy the same gen parts to franken it as previous versions. AR is nice mind. By you the time you franken one of these, you will probably be about £300 shy of a good condition used gen.
  16. Swiss ETA version is default option. You can choose an Asian ETA for $50 less.
  17. Hi all, Just noticed that Joshua has a new 42mm PO on his website. Looks to have improvements over 4th gen (anti counterfeit markings on case back, no happy feet, better AR). Could this be the long awaited new 42mm PO made from gen?
  18. Gets me thinking, wheres this new 42 they been talking about for so long now?
  19. Nice watch Rob. The factories need to make another run on this watch. What a beauty.
  20. I've been a big fan of the skyland for some time now. I have both the v2 and v3. It was the owning of the reps that triggered me to buy this gen in the end.
  21. Will get some decent photos posted soon, once I figure how to do macro shots with my new camera.
  22. A v2 rep of this watch with a better caseback would be THE rep Andreww
  23. Yeah, pearl is always a giveway with many reps. Number 45 is engraved fine, must just be lighting on shot. I must say tho, the rep aint far off. Only a few minor tweaks and they are there on that one. Maybe factores/dealers got a shed load of v3 cases to get rid of first tho eh?
  24. Hi Rob, The numbers on the rehaut (even where it says "Automatic" on the dial is definitely a darker/warmer hue than the hands. The hands are vivid bright yellow, where the numbers on rehaut have a more golden colour to the yellow. The rep isnt too far off when I compared today. Number 1 at 15 is wrong of course, as is using V3 case and caseback isnt limited ed caseback. And, yeah, the swiss made type is missing on the rep. Apart from that the rep isnt far off at all. Hope they fix these glitches on the rep.
