no, the stock datewheel overlay coming with the 1655 replica, which is powered with a DG movement
-
Thanks M, research and development : I like experiments, I got radium pasta and will make some tests in the coming days haha, I am sure you got a touch with the soooo sexy Lady Blueberry... I will introduce Lady Blueberry soon, c'est ma nouvelle fiancée

The 5.3mm doesn't fit on a cosmetic aspect. The inside of lug holes is to wide, it will look like a to small crown, so the 6mm ref 24-603 made for the 16570/16550 fits perfect. But here I used the stock crown which is also a 6mm diameter, it is just slightly shortened to looks like a gen 6mm The stock datewheel, its slightly fadded as it came white, I had it light yellow colored and I added little kind of corrosion spots

If you re-polish the inside and outside of a rep plexi, you will have the same clarity as a gen, don't use Polywatch, this is made for tourists, use Flitz blue pasta, special for plexiglass
-
same for me, Araldite Rapide, red tube epoxy, it lets the time to ajust. Not necessary to put a big amount. a tip : don't ajust with a day set via the date setting position. Use the time setting position, pass a day but don't stay at midnight sharp, turn again the crown, pass a few hours. Use the stem line as ajustment reference

when some say : working HEV, how do you test how it works ? do you dive with the watch ? just curious as usually, to say "it works" the case has to be saturated with helium, then the little plug becomes protuberant, it expulses the helium from the case, when you come back at the water surface, you press on the valve to replace it flush with the case side It works like that on your modds ? diving experts ? what do you think ?

If you wear a 6542 with a white dial and walk in the streets in Paris, especially close to collector shops area, people will make fun of you but in Disneyland Paris the watch will sublimate and impress crowd of tourists who puff out popcorn just kidding, in fact, I dont really care, The only thing I remember from PanAm is the menu choice on a Paris/San Francisco flight : Paris/NYC : Chicken or Pasta.... NYC/SFO : Pasta or Chicken...

thans guys for your comments and thaks to the admin who has changed the tittle...
-
thanks GBOGH, I don't know how to change the tittle...
-
sorry, I made a test and put wwwwwwwwww as a tittle, I don't know how to correct Second build of the Sub 5514 Comex Same punition as for the first edition, complete story described here, Ingredients : A Josh's 1665 thick case found in my spare parts magic box, which has been reduced in thickness from the top and the rehaut also and reshaped. CG also reshaped and lug holes re-drilled for the gen Rolex springbars clearance. The 1665 thick bezel ring has been also reduced in high to the same thickness as the submariner bezel. I have removed the faux HEV and drilled the case. The project is to recreate an artifact, something working, dont know what, but I will find an issue before going in water of course... I hate false fonctions like false HEV or like fixed hand at 6 for Cosmographs. The dial was bought from Ephry73, the plexi origin is Otto Frei, but it was complete reshaped and repolished to make it looks like the real thing. The movement is an Asian low beats ressucited from my trash can, complete rebuilt and serviced and relooked to simulate a Rolex 1520 (just simulate...) I will adapt a modified folded bracelet with a clasp and a diver extension like the first 5514 I have built. The bezel insert was slightly faded and completed with a Yuki pearl Lume is not to bad... a personal magic mixture.... the first 5514 and the little sister

not to offence, but really : who care ? who care about Federer ? I am very impressed by all these media/people imbeciles and their Rolex, lol, just think about this : stop being in admiration, be yourself an actor, don't stay a spectator,
-
This is not complete "lol", this could effectively be an alternative, immagination and creativity is more interesting than a classic watchsmith frozen brain, We are here in a rep world, rep world is not at all pejorative : rep = replica, we try to reproduce time piece objects, in this case we need to be more creative than a classic watchsmith. In fact a "watchmish" did not invent hot water, its just a "watchsmith" I would say, a limited brain, a basic guy. He is able to service a movement, change a quartz movement battery, unscrew/screw little screws.period. No creativity, Dont tell me he is able to do something else. I will have a lot of ennemies, sure...
-
This one I shown is a 100% gen,
-
and what about my crown guards ?
-
bull chit talking, I have actually a gen dial and a gen 1570 movement and a MBK case.... lot of thing are wrong, nothing matching, dont tell me chit, The rep world and the gen world are 2 different worlds, no mystic
-
Actually the 1680 market is completely down in France, nobody wants these watches, the red ? a few produced, and thousands on the market ? WTF ? a 1680 white is actually 3500 euros, no more. A red ? noboby wants one, they are all fake, MBW case ? takes gen tube ? takes gen plexi ? Every rep case with a minimum of tools and reflexion accept a gen tube and a gen plexi, One thing is sure : MBW cases dont accept a gen movement and a gen dial without serious case machining considerations, I know what I am talking about, pics soon,

Th Yes, that was I told a lot of time, Same for me, i have ordered more than 50 case sets, dials, hands, movements, got all my stuff in time, never experienced any problem, suddenly, this website appeared with Steve the Messiah, the Guide, lot of exitation, then slowly David started to get troubles and an empty EBay store... this was not so "lol" strange, the Steve started to cry about his private life and family health problems... pathetic... This website and this clown named Steve was a big scamm, may be this guy is hunted now and some Chinese mafia want to put a bullet in his [censored] head

Fitting a Gen 1675 dial in josh 1655 case
Rolexaddict replied to cib0rgman's topic in The Rolex Area
View of the cut areas and design from the bottom of the case view fron the size, material is removed from the bottom of the lugholes, on top its a gen case A finished 1655 into a 1675, note : in the gen world 1655 and 1675 use exactly the same slim case and 5.30mm crown. For the rep you need Explorers 16550 or 16570 6mm tube and crown. Ref : tube = 24-5330-0 crown = 24-603 -

Hahahaha ! nice video, I hope for the FBI they have other more juicy things to investigate than a few scammed rep watch forums members, and the clever guy who built this DW website and who disappeared like a smart fart after the Vietnam, Irak, Afghanistan, now we have the DW secret war
-
Its not a 7750 based as a 7750 based is a tri-compax. These Chinese movements are copy of bi-compax Seagull, non working chrono hours counter at 6, just a glued hand, not very realistic,
-
Did I talk about watches ? I wrote vintage dayto parts, case sets, movements, I didn't talk about watches,
-
because of himself, or because of the guy who has launched a website called DW ?
