Hey fellow RWG'ers! I have an old school PAM 063C, and the trouble is the Jakob case back will not screw down, it leaves a 1mm gap after a few turns...... Anyone else have an old school GMT PAM (029/063) and been successful with Jakob's sweet custom case backs? Original case back on the left, Jakob's on the right.... Click to expand: I thought at first the case back might be pressing against the movement retainer, but decasing the whole movement disproved that theory. So it screws on a few turns as smooth as butter, then just stops with a gap, easily large enough to place a finger nail..... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You really think so? The factory is out of stock, nowhere has them until a couple of weeks when the new 177M is released. This information is on the boards to read and know, yet you think an unknown off site board will have them?

That would be an easy fix for a dremel tool with a polishing cloth and sellotape, then a 3M abrasive brushing block

Actually no, the movement is reliable and jewelled where needed Like all Asian 7750 based watches though, a full service and regulation would be a good idea Secs@12 is nothing like the future "paperweight" secs@9, I have no idea why people think it is. I have owned quite a few of these over time, they have all worked without any problems
