  1. Trying to find this model: Link Calibre 36 Chronometer CT511A.BA0564 In either new or pre-owned, but it seems impossible! I guess people don't like to sell this model..... The Monza looks nice too
  2. Thanks for the links, I saw those I really would like a more modern watch I feel, I had a phase where I loved the vintage style watches, but something changed, and now they don't really do anything for me? Not sure why..... I will keep looking
  3. No problem, you can redeem yourself by finiding me an El Primero watch to buy, get searching!
  4. Thanks for the info guys! I wish I could stretch to over three grand, but I am looking at less than that I have seen Tag Monza watches that look nice, and the Tag link, but can't find them for sale anywhere..... I have a budget of £2000 max
  5. Hello fwellow RWG'ers! I am thinking of buying an El Primero based watch, and wondered what choice there is out there? I prefer a more sporty look, and the Tag Link caught my eye, but seems impossible to find, anyone know what brands use this sweet movement, aside from Zenith? I am looking at the pre owned market, but seem to be having very little luck in finding anything..... Also, just in case, are there any RWG members who would like to sell a Primero based watch? As that would be ideal, as this community feels so much safer than other online forums! EDIT: A fellow member was kind enough to point out the sale of a Tag Link Calibre 36 watch, and I was lucky enough to buy it! Thanks very much dvn for that! It is a lovely watch, I am so happy with it! I re-finished the bezel to a mirror polished finish (original owner brushed it), and re-brushed the entire case/bracelet. The outer AR coating was pretty messed up, so I removed it. The white dial does not really need double AR, single is fine. If anything the AR scratches were distracting from the simple, pure white dial. I snapped some quick pictures, what do you guys think? The watch looks almost new, the AR inside the crystal is very effective, the dial still really "pops" out at you, such a comfortable watch too! The chronograph runs butter smooth, you can hardly see the ticks! I think I got a great deal, the box and papers were included, and the recent full service is still holding a four and a half year guarantee, I would just need to send it back to Canada Comments and observations welcome!
  6. I would consider single sided colourless AR, but not sure about the double sided AR
  7. Price range is around £700-1200, depending on from where, and condition/dial colour.... Cheers!
  8. Case and bracelet finish is fantastic, and it's a very comfortable watch too Gotta love a gen, nothing beats it, spotless dial and hands, even with a loupe
  9. I like them, but are they accurate?
  10. He sent me the same mail, I replied late last night that he should remove the auction because it was a fake watch, he replied with a "thanks" and the sale was gone......
  11. 34 going on 12 yes This was a trade, so no choice on the dial colour, but with my experience of the yellow dial Seawolf, the uniqueness of the yellow dial wears off after a while.....
  12. Yep, the best of both worlds, multifunction quartz, but in the same mech Aquaracer case! Ouch, that rep is terrible!
  13. I made three best offers on the watch, $1, $2, and $3, they were all declined. Who wants to continue where I left off?
  14. Hehe, this IS the genuine version of this watch! I have it with the full box and papers, as part of a trade for my Breitling Chrono Avenger franken...... I know what you mean regarding quartz watches, I felt the same too, but I decided that each type of watch (mech & quartz) have there own merits. It will be nice to be able to wear this watch, even after a week or so, and it still tells the correct time
  15. It looks the same, weren't the Seawolf's always made via the HBB factory?
  16. Just picked up this beauty, a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Chronotimer using a quartz movement. All my previous watches have been mechanical movements, so it was about time I added a quartz watch to my collection, what do you guys think? Pics, click to expand! I really like the watch, I have been playing with the multiple functions since I received it, I guess there are benefits to having a quartz movement, aside from accuracy and continuous functionality (until the battery dies).....
  17. Beautiful, will deffo pick up a strap from him soon
  18. Strap looks nice, nice soft leather it seems, bet it's comfortable Never heard of marvellousreplica, is he new? He takes a decent QC pic that's for sure
  19. You have the pics, not us, do you like the strap!? You can always buy more, that's how PAM's work However in the pic you posted the strap looks nice, no crappy fake croc "print" or similar Who are you buying from?
  20. Yeah, Tony and PT are both great dealers, I am just after a fast EU delivery
  21. Looks fantastic, defo next on my list! I wonder if any dealer has stock of these in the EU? Pretty sure PT doesn't, not sure who else to ask.....
  22. Just wondering if the font is same as the ETA font
