Bit too small to really tell... but what had me scratching my head was how the dealer's photos on the first page and how Tolis's photos all have the same dimpled background?

I can lend you a really fine marker - ok i'm just kidding. Its A VIntaGE. So either someone swapped the dial in Josh's Gen or someone pulled a fast one on him and sold him a poor franken.. Oh no... Wonder what Josh has to say about all these? Having said that, what can we expect from $138, i think like i said earlier, it was the way it was marketed most likely that got these threads going. Most important is to wear it well and proud! Dang, Gen UPOs going for $S1950 on the bay.. i just made up my mind not to spend too much modding this one. Prob just a gen crown, tube and let it be my beater.

Thanks for correcting me on the shape of the marker. You prob have the best info since you have a gen onhand. For the price i reckon its a steal but to sell it as exactly similar is probably the reason for all these postings. If it was just sold as a fine or good copy at this price, i think it'll be lauded and many would have placed orders already.. still, i wonder whether that case can take a gen dial, if you can ever find one first... I kindof like the offwhite dials more to the orange though.. But then again, that's some crazy lume for a vintage watch That's like brighter than my Wm9 V2 with superlume

That's a decent price. Did you get it with SS or rubber?

I'm no expert on 1655. But there are some truths to what many have said here. Firstly, there are more than 1 variance of the 1655, mainly 1 with mercedes second hand and another with normal straight second hand. The mini markers are Supposed to touch the rehaut, so its surprising that the gen in Josh's photo doesn't. Also, those mini markers are more rectangular in shape rather than square. Its again interesting to note the difference in the gen watch from Josh's pic. Is it even possible the pple at the factory placed the wrong dial back into the gen by mistake?? Lastly, the fonts on the rep are quite well done, however there are differences in the T swiss T (spacing) as well as the Rolex font difference and spacing for the II. The first I should commence under the D in Date. And it seems that the bezel fonts are not right as well esp the 4 with the flat top and the 2s... but that is quite minor. Wat mvmt? That info might help. My A7750 goes 19 hours with 1 hour in the winder 2836-2 goes >24 hours with 1 hour in winder.

Finally made up my mind and placed my order on Amazon... 1) 8000-03 10.8V Cordless Dremel rotary kit - $63 2) 684-01 20 piece polishing kit - $13.50 3) Dremel 2500-01 Rotary multi vise - $25 4) 421 Dremel polishing compound I'll be using this mostly to polish bracelet links/clasps and eventually cases and crownguards even. Anyone can comment if i'm missing any essential attachment or accessory? Thanks!

Urm.... waterproofed Sinn, maybe U2 with diver clasp? or Omega PO on rubber?

Just to add. I normally re-use the styrofoam box and all the bubble wrap that comes when you order a watch from the dealer. Its an ideal size, doesn't give too much space for the watch to shift around and is shock, damage proof cos the styrofoam box takes a lot of damage.

My wife prefers i wear my 'macho' Skyland on Pro II bracelet. Not too chunky and very manly she claims. In fact, its the only watch so far i got scolded for selling! Normally its for buying...

Then why are you selling yours? I think its a nice watch and worth keeping... If only they get the rehaut engraving and the cyclops mag right...

I think you will not go wrong with this one Deniz. Its a beauty. DAMN i can't stop looking at it. Maybe if the H is a sticker, you can ask your dealer to mail an extra sticker to you and stick it on yourself to position it right...?

Hey all, Would like to check with you guys how long does it take your 3717 or any A7750 mvmt to switch over to the next day.date. I realised my watch day starts moving around 11.15am and date wheel starts around 11.25am and by 11.55 or so they're pretty much over to the next day. I've heard of guys who claim their day/date switches exactly at 12mn. Just wanna find out if mine is normal or needs some tuning. Appreciate! G
