Well.. just an update. Since 58% voted for a BK WM9 V3.. i listened to the masses, did my homework and got myself a WM9 V2! Woop! Now i have $100 remainder for gen crown/tube... or a 295 crystal...

They all look quite good! My personal preference is the all black ceramic or ice bang. But the A.Senna is a nice twist as well... He was my fav driver back then, so far me its special.

Your dealer must be misinformed cos black has been out of stock for a while, the factories do not intend to make anymore as well. So he prob realised it after you bought it. Please share who this dealer is (although i may have an idea) either here for our benefit or thru PM thanks. Only Blue is in stock and prob running low as well.

Well my 3717 is 21/18. Just bought a gen buckle for my strap. If yer thinking of selling ur rep strap do drop me a PM Think there is a diff on the sides of the straps btw gen and rep

Hmm.. maybe get measurements for buckle end and get a gen buckle (18mm?), saw some PVD or Ti IWC buckle on the bay not long ago. Btw care to share how's the diff in quality btw the rep and the gen?

Hey guys, just back from the canal shops in shanghai. MAN I can never buy another canal rep after spending 3 hrs there looking at hundreds of watches. Everything is so way off I can't justify paying even $30 for any watch there except as a base or for donor parts. Finally saw a UPO Not sure which version, seller cost is $30 and was trying to sell for $70. Then asked for a top gun 3789 with A7750, his cost 2kRMB and he wanted 2.5kRMB. I know his cost to his distributor cos I peeked at his MSN chat window with his factory. I say, stick to our dealers here even for crap reps, you seriously dunno the combos of canal reps I saw today.. Shocking!

Pilot's watch where it belongs... I love flt sims!

Hi Omegaers... Never thought i'd come close to buying an omega rep but i've recently been taken by this version of the UPO, black bezel and orange numerals... Plus its highly modded potential. I just like opinions of the omega owners or experts here on the pics of this watch i'm looking at purchasing. I assume its asian eta. I need opinions on : 1) How good is the dial and 'version' of this watch (after research i realise there's up to 5 versions and the black bezel is more accurate 2) How close is this rep? Or is the canal quality? Thanks in advance all Omega Noob

Hi folks, In the little 2 hour break in between matches, just wanna share my newly returned 3717, regulated to +/- 3s and full service by Spin. ETA Day/Date wheels and Taka AR crystal (Hope you can see from the pic!) Holding the removed rep day/date wheels n crystal in my hands in comparison... i can see why this is the first essential mod, well first is always strap for me actually. Buttery soft Kevlar with white stitches from Watchboys. Enjoy! Close up of that day/date Now looking for Gen hands/dial/crown/tube. PM me if you can bring me to that giant leap for mankind!

Thanks for the reply and support guys. If you ever do decide to carry out this mod yourself, do be careful especially with the filing and the painting. And always do this mod before reluming or sending for reluming. Always have the dial secured well. Cheerios! G
