  1. I was eyeing it but the descrip about the finishing having to be reworked put me off.
  2. Gd price for a TT GMT IIc. Looks quite gen, do only use paypal for protection. Cheers. And after you get it, post better pics!
  3. I am so waiting for your GMT IIc BK!
  4. Hmm not sure how u searched but you can find him under BK's garage in dealer section. All his contact is there plus u can PM him
  5. Sorry to dig up an old thread. Just wondering about the conclusion. Is V3 >> V2 out of box but it loses out on ability to accept gen parts? Thanks guys
  6. +1 D90 Body. Use the difference to get a 18-200 VR, (VR II is way pricer) or a tamron 17-50 f2.8 and something else. G
  7. Its amazing on the iphone.. been waiting for this day! woot!
  8. The first thing that hit me was IV. Otherwise it has a nice clean white dial just like a longines presence i had but sold not long ago.
  9. How much does a gen insert cost for the WM9 anyone? Just want to weigh out all the modding costs for all the watches mentioned.
  10. OMG same serial number! Quick check if your watch is still with yer.. THanks to all who replied, think we have sufficiently tore this rep apart for what its worth.
  11. Just want to protect my fellow forummers there with what little knowledge i have. Just received an appreciation PM from a guy there who was contemplating buying the watch till he read my reply..
  12. How did i miss that?!? Haha.. that's like a "Made in Guangzhou" trademark haha
  13. Here's my U2 with ETA 2836-2. Love the smooth sweep...
  14. Very gd point my friend.. i used to think my GMT IIc was the perfect size for my wrist... till i put on my Skyland with the Pro II... suddenly 44mm looks made for my wrist and my GMT IIc looked a little subdued..
  15. MIckey.. i have 2 burning questions. 1) Just how many Hublots do you have?? 2) WHich is your favourite and why?
  16. 1) Bk Wm9 V3 Black Sub 2) Hublot Big Bang All Ceramic 3) AP ROOs Secs@12 4) AP RB2 -photos are just used as a visual reference, with no intention of promotion or misuse.
  17. Sweet.. bet it'll look great on tan leather as well? like a gen croc HKtan.. drool
  18. Gd point out on the ICHS, i picked that up too. Here's my reply to his posting... Summarized The picture is head-on. But solely based on the handstack, this looks nothing like the genuine GMT IIc. Most telling is correct hand stack is Hour,GMT,Minute,Seconds. From TS pic seems like GMT,Hour,Minute,Seconds. This is known as ICHS (Incorrect Hand stack) in the replica watch forums. Also, as mentioned by bros, the bezel fonts are wrong, esp the 2s are very fat. The GMT needle length is wrong, Genuine GMT needle reaches to the minute markers, TS's pic show GMT needle about 2-3mm shorter. Oh yah, also the most telling, The 'R' of the Rolex rehaut engraving at 9pm should line up with the marker as in the genuine. TS rehaut engraving is off, just like replicas. Genuine pic below for comparison Just to qualify my observations. Pls note the serial number on rehaut engraving of a replica GMT IIc below. First few figures match TS's watch exactly "Z754..." and this number never changes...
  19. Sorry George.. You're obviously not a farmer and didn't go on the Quest for the Holy Grail with the Monty Python.. Fear the Killer Rabbit
  20. Some guy tried to post this for sale in my car forum. Claimed he bought it from AD and selling for $6k. Was even willing to let buyer send for authenticity checks at RSC. Comments?
  21. WIth C1 lume mixed with C3 on a 80-20% ratio. So its still day white and lume much brighter at night. Gotta start on the dial.. will have results here by end of week hopefully
  22. Thanks The Zigmeister.. that's a most logical explanation.. i could only replicate the jumping at certain angles. So the watch is designed to work on your wrist but not horizontal? Just a little uncomfortable looking at the stuttering of the second hand... i much prefer my 2836-2...
  23. I think it would go great with a mesh bracelet.... Anyone ordered theirs with mesh? Technically, you could use the mesh to fend off shark bites and the clonker of the watch to bash the eye of the shark! This watch saves lives
  24. If it was a periodic skip meaning like throughout the sweep i'd understand, but this problem manifests only from like after 12 to 5, and after that its smooth.. So not sure if its nature of the movement.. but you may be right. I'd never buy this mvmt again, not for a long time to come.
  25. Well, since i returned my watch, dun have the chance to take it apart to investigate.. but from the way it skips.. might seem like worn out teeth on the gears? Might also be a batch problem with all the 2813s and may sort itself out by the next few batches.. Anyway, if your dealer can guarantee a swiss ETA (And of course you must check when you receive it), i'll go that way. My U2 runs so smoothly on 2836-2 ETA
