Hi all, Just wound up my Sinn U1 with Asian movement and was watching the second hand move. The second hand kinds of stutters (jumps) from 5 to 25 and after it sweeps normally.. The stuttering is a little hard to describe, it kinds of jumps second by second while the usual sweep does so in 1/2 second steps. Is this something normal for the asian A2813, can someone with a U1 confirm this is normal? I have compared with my other rep watches and it keeps a whole minute well, just a bit uncomfortable with the needle stuttering. Thanks! G

The same reason any country needs an army - to protect our rep watches from all the rep mongers! Can't think of another reason. I go to sleep soundly every night knowing someone is protecting my reps

Just speaking for myself here. Even on Josh's websites, or most dealers for that matter, you will find 2,3 versions of the same watch and of course different prices. Do read the descriptions to find out the differences be it mvmt, strap, finishing, made with genuine? If the difference btw 2 dealers for the same watch is like >USD30, i'll be slightly wary cos after all, they mostly get their watches from the same source. I'd check their shipping prices as well just in case.

Gd point demonslayer. Thanks, i've checked and he charged me for what i would pay on other dealers sites for a V3. But just a bit off-color to depict his product as a V2 and sell it at V3 price. Overall, watch quality is still great, just finding the dial a very dark grey color, almost to black, under white light, it shows a very dark graphite color.

Think you're both right that its a V3. The 1 was a dead giveaway. serial number behind is not slanted though. Also the crown pushers are indeed sticking out too much. Sigh.. it still looks gorgeous though!

Its a grey SS V2. Just adjusted and oiled bracelet to prepare it for the photoshoot and wristie later. Haha.. Looks and Feels so Good! No regrets with this beauty!

Thanks for the dealer rec Mike, he sent me a mail saying he visually inspected 3 reps for lume dots alignment and positioning and sent out the best. Whether its true or not, i shall find out when i receive the watch, considering its the skyland V2, a good piece does matter.

Longines wins hands down. For me its the darker, deeper dial color.

One of the photos that made me run out and ordered a skyland for myself.. still in the mail but hopefully arriving anyday now. Just wondering since we're on this topic, i ordered with the Pro 2 SS bracelet and also ordered a diver strap like yours, how do you keep the rubber strap dust free etc? Is there some sort of spray or application to make it like non dust stick? haha.. Hope you get what i mean..

Just received my watchwinder today. Plastic Time tutelary 2 horizontal winder with felt bottom. Single motor, able to rotate clock or anti-clock wise. Has blue LED which i might either change to white or just disable it. Winder goes for 1 hour then rest for 3. So far so good, doesn't look like it will scratch the watch, though with the spring loaded adaptor (to put the watch on), leather straps might get stretched a little? Good thing is its really quiet. Will update later if anything. For now, yeah, just in time cos i got 2 more reps arriving any day!
