  1. You need a bracelet resizing tool. Cheap on ebay but if you want to start wearing the watch soon just take it somewhere to be resized! If you do a search for bracelet resizing you should find some info.
  2. Delivery anything from 5-20 days! Relax it will come before christmas... The TAG is a great watch but you have to take care of some very specific instructions regarding the A7750. 1) Never set the date between 7pm and 3am. 2) Always stop the chrono with the top pusher. Never reset it straight from moving. INstructions for winding etc are easy to come by on the forum, look The Zigmeisters basics or do a search! ANy questions just ask. Its a wonderful hobby you've embarked on.
  3. The HE valve can actually be loosened but there is no point as it is only for use when diving. Your PO wont be waterproof to the depths you would use the HE valve at so dont worry about it! To resize the bracelet I would recommend taking it to a jeweller/watchsmith and they will have it done in a few minutes for about $5. You need proper tools to do it yourself.
  4. I will look again, I did a search but didnt find anything. May have missed it. Does running the chrono reduce the power reserve much?
  5. I got a serviced asian 7750 recently and to me its great. Extremely smooth sweep and chronos reset perfectly. Keeps time to about +5 - 15s a day. Only have it a week so too early to say anything yet but I have a general question: Should I run the chrono from time to time, should I leave it running all the time, or should I never run it? Thanks
  6. I'll give you a quick example of why I buy reps. Since I can remember I've wanted a Breitling Navitimer. I was always amazed by the watch and I still think its an absoloutely beautiful piece. However I'm still a college student so I'm essentially earning noithing at the moment. When I unwrapped the Navitimer from Andrew it was an undescribable feeling, I had a hell of a good replica of the watch of my dreams. I have been around a few Navitimer reps before when I was on holidays, but they were the faux-chrono junk. Now I will probably buy one or two gens in the future, but that will be a while down the road. For now I have this community to thank for allowing me all the pleasure of owning a great watch for way less than all the price. Another thing I think is a kind of secret draw is the constant drive to getting the best posible replica of any particular model, along with the ability to tinker with and mod our watches. It gives us a special kind of attachment to the watches in a way different to gens. Its very satisfying opening up and regulating your latest watch, a process unlikely to be attempted on gens.
  7. Maybe its the al new 27 jewel ETA . Apparently exclusive to certain "other sites"... AVOID!
  8. Could someone tell me how to remove a Navitimer caseback? Thanks
  9. Pearls the same really. Ill post a pic of mine tonight for you.
  10. The bezel on my new navitimer is very loose... it moves up and down if i shake the watch gently and will move around with any contact with my sleeves. When i tap the sapphire it sounds very loose and "plasticy" but when i push in the bezel with my hand it sounds normal. Is there a fix to this? I paid for a full service which is a bit worrying....Surely this would have been spotted? Thanks
  11. Oh I've read plenty about seconds at 6! I got the Navitimer serviced by trusty and to my untrained eye it looks like it runs beautifully. Smoother sweep than the 2824 in the omega. The noobmariner is nice but the movement is very loud when the rotor is turning. I cant really wear the watch in the library unless i take it off. But Im very happy with my selections so far! Its a really great feeling because I've always loved watches and I really thought looking at them was all I'd be able to do. Found a great dealer with Andrew too. Its all good at the moment. This forum is a real gem.
  12. Here is a pic of my "collection as it stands now". Im a student still so spending money is tight... I think a big bang may be my next purchase.
  13. Is it possible to change dials on this model?
  14. Good man thanks a million. What a sweet watch. Im here about 3 months and already I have a 4th gen PO, noobmariner and now a navimeter! I love this game.
  15. just wondering if the seconds at 9 subdial on my new navi is supposed to be constantly sweeping Thanks a lot GF
  16. Tracking may not show up at all. Andrew is one of the very very best and you WILL get the watch. As an (ex) newbie myself I asked the same questions....I realise now how silly I was. The dealers here wont screw you.
  17. 4th gen PO is not as far from the 45mm ultimate as you might think.... the quality and feel is just amazing. Omega logo placement is now spot on. Gap between end link and bracelet not noticable. Really quality feel to the 4th gen 42mm also. If the 42mm had a longer minute hand Id challenge anyone to say the ultimate is much better....
  18. http://cgi.ebay.ie/Omega-Seamaster-Mens-Wa...1QQcmdZViewItem
  19. Thanks for that. Andrew got back to me and said he'd see what he could do to help! That guy is absoloutley amazing. Wouldnt get his level of service from anyone. Unreal.
  20. Removing the AR coating is slighlty above my abilities. I guess Ill just have to live with it...
  21. Yep Ill ask Andrew anyway. Hopefully. Thanks.
  22. Blast him anyway. Im almost sure it was the watchsmith that did it. Is a replacement crystal with the same ar ect (4th gen 42mm PO) expensive?
