I tried Havana a little while back, I also love my tobacco scents. Yes it certainly does smell like tobacco but it has a very 'old-school' feel to it. Not that I have anything against that, in fact I love my old-school scents, but this one (on me at least), left me wanting to scrub it off.
Check this one also out, Costamor Tabacca.
Always
I remember doing this myself ages ago by layering the date wheel upon another. I bought a spare one from a dealer (I forgot the name now). This fixes it pretty well. Alternatively you can send it to a modder who may have other methods. But totally fixable.
Besides, the pics may not show it properly, but in real life the dw may be close enough. It's just my nit picking
Original A*Men and PH sounds awesome. I want to try the new 'Pure Leather', as I never liked the tar opening of the original. Let's see when it comes out here.
I'm going with with my remaining mls of Hanae Mori HiM. Such a gem.
Chergui is very fine and elegant. I like it a lot.
Musc Ravageur is a very hyped fragrance. Some love it, some don't. I believe it's an interesting scent but yes, the dry down is the better part.
It's a little cold today and a good cherry pipe tobacco scent will do perfectly (with a nice dry herbal dry down) ... Bogart Pour Homme. (so cheap too)
If the rep makers could build this 3714 fully based on the 7750 model but insert a quartz movement, I'd be happy. When wearing the watch, people don't even notice whether the seconds sweep or not.
Having said that, you already know about the sweeping quartz movement that Bulova use.... if the Chinese could build such a movement for this watch, I'll be buying every dial and case option that the 3714 comes in.
I know what you mean, niche just performs so much better. Still love the odd designer gem though
Have you tried Byredo Accord Oud? Take TFs Tuscan Leather and add a boozy saffron mixed with dark forest berries.
Accuracy wise, yes the movement will be sorted, but as for looks ... very far from the genuine. Wouldn't waste my money per se, but if you're desperate for it, why not?

Oh IWC have often poorly done their QC work on their gen products. I used to work for an AD ages ago and jeez they are often extremely shi^. But the watches look so damn good!!
Spicebomb is ok, it is certainly a derivative of several fragrance. The major problem is that by the time you start enjoying this, it's a strict skin scent (or gone). Worth a try though.
