  1. Stunning watch and awesome strap for a perfect combo!
  2. it's not, I asked the same to a fellow member before I got it Unlock the locking mechanism by turning it 45 degree. So the sides should be facing upwards. Then you pull out the crown like normal (position 2 for date, position 3 for time)
  3. that first strap is too frikkin sweet bro, wear in good health!
  4. Great choice Sir, look forward to some pics when it arrives
  5. Well the 3799 rep hasn't been out as long as the non double chrono (3789) hence why the "v" confusion. Most dealers should stock the V3 only or the 3799 which mirrors the advancements of the 3789. So if it's 3789 , go for V3 which is the best version. If you want the 3799, go ahead as that is the version that came out at the same time as the 3789 v3 (roughly).
  6. A true watch collector , Welcome to the madness. A fellow Londoner here. The rep game is all about patience and most probably customs won't seize your watch. What watch did you order btw?
  7. Thanks brother, they also have a website! The prices are amazing, I may purchase a few. Still looking for a good croc style nubuck in black or navy blue
  8. that TUNGCHOIWATCH strap looks amazing. BTW, my watch arrived today and OMFG how amazing. One of my favourite watches of all time. Goes in the list with the 3717 and Pam 000.
  9. Whilst it is nice to have the Swiss 7750, the Asian 7750 is equally a good work horse. In fact, I recommend the Asian and then a service on top. This is because the Swiss 7750 coming from a Chinese factory will still most probably go through very little QC and may be dirty and wrongly oiled. You'll end up servicing it anyway. Go for the Asian one imo, but in the end it's your choice. As for which model - both are superbly replicated and close to gen. I have owned both and the double chrono sits much larger (like a Pam) which I prefer. I too was concerned initially about the seemingly missing grey circles around the sub-dials but in actual fact, they can be made out in certain angles. All in all, both great reps, even with A7750.
  10. whilst not my style of watch, this looks absolutely amazing and well built. congrats
  11. Just bought this Kevlaar strap for my JLC (ETA Tomorrow) and this one inspired by the last post from GBOG. I am also looking into nubuck croc grain leather strap options to dress this up a bit. Similar to these
  12. Damn Mike, awesome review. Just when I thought I had the watch section covered for myself Judging from the pics that were posted on here comparing the rep to gen. Nit-Pickers ... come on!!! This thing looks so gen it's amazing. Nobody will honestly pick you out on the street. This surely is a beast and whoever is on the fence, pick the yellow dial. It's THE Breitling colour for this watch!!!
  13. Got the new Calvin Klein sample in, "Encounter". Wearing that today. Weak but not bad
  14. Yep, Kron is very trustworthy. I've bought from him before. I am wearing Amouage Memoir today.
  15. Echoing Mike, Ebay can be a scary place at times. Luckily there are very little fakes for Tom Fords online. Having said that, it is hard to purchase the Private Blends online. Three suggestions: 1) You can call the Tom Ford boutiques in Europe and see whether you can purchase over the phone. 2) Find a bottle on Ebay and paste the link here. We can try and judge whether the seller (product) is genuine. 3) The best imo, is buying splits. A split is when a guy buys the largest bottle available (in this case 250ML) and then decants it into smaller bottles (usually 50ml). The economies of scale that the larger bottle engenders means that the 50Ml split will cost far less than retail. The best decanter I know is a guy called Kron on Basenotes. http://www.basenotes.net/threads/291690-New-splits-for-2012!-Amouage-Creed-F-Malle-Guerlain-TDC-MDCI-Tom-Ford He is based in the U.k.
  16. Some sales reps are simply amazing and love to help out etc. Some are complete a$$wipes. I don't think we have that brand over here, but I'll see what I can do. Today, Eau de Sauvage
  17. Stunning, absolutely stunning. Great collection as well. When do you find the time to wear them all?
  18. yeah that can't be IT. Few glaring errors. Angus mentioned that the final version would be as 1:1 as possible. This definitely isn't. The 'superrep' will also have a domed crystal according to him.
  19. Yeah Pure Havane can be rocked during all seasons imo as well. One spray on chest for me too. Mancera Cedrat Boise for me today.
  20. You mean Nasomatto? Yeah it's good. I had it a little while ago but sold it and bought Diptyque Eau de Lierre which has a similar accord. Good buy though, check out Black Afgano. NO WAY! That is criminal I say. The rule is to never ever touch what is already Gold.
  21. I still like the house for their frags I got a generous sample of Guerlains Songe d'un bois d'ete. It is frikkin amazing. I fresh spicy oud fragrance, tamed with a bit of sweetness. General perception by ladies is that it makes them very very erm, well you know. It has that sexy sensual quality to it. Amazing. Just bought a decant for the colder months, should be coming soon!
  22. although this recently rocked the house http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-08-14/news/33187406_1_light-bulbs-black-customers-racism my sources confirm some truth about her ways, but only a court can finalise anything. Chez Bond is really nice though. Having said that, out of Cool Water, GIT and Chez Bond, I still prefer the cheapie : Kiton Men. It smells so damn good.
  23. never been there but i hear it's s.hit. bond goes overboard with their fragrance naming strategy but hey, if it smell good... It's hot in London so I am going with Chanel Allure Homme Sport.
  24. Nice bottle, I will give that Ambre a try soon. Wearing Bond's Coney Island today
