  1. They might as well take the lettering away from the dial because it's not a great replication of the genuine piece. Knowing what rep factories have been able to produce relatively recently, it's a shame and waste to spend that much for that rep. Might as well get the non-chrono Portofino which is a much much better rep.
  2. It's quite nice, shame about the longevity but it certainly is a good fresh scent.
  3. Tex (Mike) is an awesome guy. He will get back to you, but it will surely take time. He has so many projects atm and he is very particular with his work.
  4. Thing is, I am not an overly massive Creed fan, however for me personally Aventus is a master piece that no other house has been able to come close to. Despite what people say, I always think a person can find at least one Creed they cannot resist. I also figured that my colder weather scent may either be Jacques Bogart Pour Homme (vanilla/cherry tobacco. Elegant), or Costume National Scent Intense (light incense tea)
  5. You're right, they're stunning. Here is an oldie What's the story behind your Mark XVI?
  6. Yeah it's hard to limit yourself to one bottle strictly. As of now I'd pick Creed Aventus for the warmer days and still undecided for the colder ones. But it's all so subjective also, all depends on what sort of notes you like as well.
  7. He was angry as his gen Portofino looked so similar.
  8. Looks sweet, I must say. I do slightly prefer the SS390 though. But that is just personal preference as I can't see gold and pvd
  9. scary. i genuinely couldn't buy a luminor marina base gen pam any longer.
  10. I have been in Ethiopia for the last few weeks. Finally got back yesterday. Starting off with Creed Aventus
  11. Thanks for the info PhilFree, can't wait to test out Vetiver and Oud, they are some of my favourite notes.
  12. Le Labo's Bergamote 22. Wow, I never paid much attention to this house, but I sampled a few others and they are damn good.
  13. Hey IWC fans, I was just browsing through watch porn sites online and came across this stunner. It is 43mm which is very nice and comes with an in-house movement. Limited Edition of 500 in RG but apparently will be a continuous run in SS. Enjoy, but just wipe the drool off your keypads.
  14. Stunning. You're absolutely right about the case quality
  15. Definitely, it has a fruity top note with a predominant male rasberry and grape concoction. It slowly dries down a bit like Creed's Original Santal but with a boozy vibe. The a bit of tobacco kicks in and a great mossy dry down. Amazing stuff. I got a few 7ml samples of a guy on ebay. They aren't cheap but you can still find a few.
  16. Oldies are goodies. Going with this vintage Jil Sander Feeling Man
  17. Mona Di Orio Les Nombres d'Or Vetyver. Second favourite fragrance right now.
