  1. in my 036 i have a genuine original unitas not eta unitas, original unitas new made of NOS parts, same like the pre vendomes but without any engraving, only brushed plates.

but since 2 years i have genuine swiss unitas back bridges in brass without any engraving direct from eta, 3 movt sets bridges.

one time i will start the little word panerai laser engraving project with this bridges and it also gets the rhodium coating,

and then i will buy more of the bridges sets from reta.

then the gen swiss movements get the correct bridges.  this project is then for sale, or my watchsmith makes the installation on the gen swiss eta unitas.

Good news Rolli. Interesting that due to lack of any OP update, this thread is now becoming more focused on Rollis project:) I'd love to build both 082 and 036 but I am afraid it is almost impossible...there are no accurate cases for 082 (sans DNS but it is of low quality...) and 036 has a movement that can not be obtained or build off any existing models, so sadly it won't be something I am interested in. 201a will be on my list for sure...

  2. 082 is ready in oem swiss standard and quality, pics will follow,

036 is in production in swiss standard oem, with original 036 surface paint and with genuine original tritium resin varnish which was used in all T-Dials.

    201a in beginning phase  etc..

at the moment starts the swiss basel world trade fair,

  3. what is the problem,

from beginning to collect pams my watchmaker used H3.

i was never in doubt it could be the wrong decision.

    h3 is always good.

the old FGD dials with back plate got h3, because between the dials made my watchmaker a thin foil, that the dials thickness became 1,0 mm.

i never thought about it, whether it is perfect to use H2 mixed with H3.

H3 is always standard with me.

and always better is, to keep attention to polish the cannon pinion tip.

the omly thing is, that my watchmaker had to shorten the minute hand-tube,

otherwise the minute hand came not deep enough on the cannon pinion that the polished top is accurate plane with the minute hand on top.

so.. the minute hand came a bit nearer to the hour hand.

and this could be that the meaning is, ohh here could be a mix of H2 + H3.

    no complete H3.

in the watchmaking is always given the possibilty to make the one or other reworking to get the final wished result.

  4. did forget to mention.

note:  high end oem dials must be the clichee made of stainless steel or made of glass, and the lettering recess will be made with deep etching.

the letter / lettering edges are professional straight and accurate.

but for the standard print for promotional products or  standard industry prints, the pad printers use a plastic cliche,

but this is not usable for precision oem dials.

and to know is, a stainless steel or glass clichee costs minmum € 120 - 150,--

  5. maybe you all remmeber what i said   ???

only a dial maker with oem swiss certificate can produce in the oem style and quality, also for the print.

this pad printing profession is a hard trainee profession and our has his master certificate.

and for our dials we have an engineer for all this dial work and long time employees with  skills and experiences.

this is not a sooo beside work.

    top products need top maker.

    also for the vector graphic,

the print clichee brings tolerances and the final print brings tolerances, and always important to use is swiss berlac AG paint for dial print.

it has the special viscosity and consistence and it is only made for the dial print.

no other paint can printed so exact. and the tolerances, you have to regulate it in the vector graphic before you start.

and also here only a professional graphic designer for technical design can make it perfect.

all other doings and persons are tinker  and only bad hobby.

    regards

I am out. No comms, no updates, no proper photos of the offered product... Too much hassle for what it is, I know the guy tried to do his best but it seems like he is not up for the task and for 100$+ I'd rather wait for someone a bit more professional/capable of managing it to come along...

  6. we got the original dial surface berlac paint,

vector graphic almost ready with all details, looks perfect, original B-serie details.

it will be a perfect quality oem and perfect looking dial with a indxe filling in domed shape....hahahaha

and this is still top secret my friends...

it must be still a little bit excitement for ....what does it mean and what can it be.
