  1. http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e230/wat...SCF3743-1-1.jpg Hi all. Looking at DSNs 6154, the crown seems not to be flush with the case. Is this because it isn
  2. Gimme six to twelve months:) BTW - a "qualified" guess: Scavenging backlist for historic credibility and drawing upon experience with the Milgauss evolution/re-issue - 42 mm w/ new 20 or 22 mm oysterband and "new vintage" clasp - oversized Space-Dweller commemorative watch to be launched, 300 pcs. ltd. ed., Basel 2009. Isn
  3. Hi Thinking of using this oversized case for a project, I ask: What is the bracelet width? Still 19mm? Thanks! MG
  4. Agree (36mm+=fantasy), but nobody knows nothing about the SP-D, thus it is we who control the truth and can decide the right size without being busted. So IMO wearability (size) is more important than historic accuracy. Again, just my opinion. MG
  5. Thanks. Keep thinking! I welcome you and everyone to co-evolve this project:) DJ case would be too small for big manly fists like ours no? ...must be no cg vintage sub case right? The superdome will really lift the watch. If someone with custom dial experience is keen on overseeing the actual production - I
  6. Hi. Inexperienced rep fan MG here with more stupid questions: The idea of a Space-Dweller won
  7. Damn! Totally neglected the difference between pro-diving and holiday snorkling... Heck, a pro deepsea diver doing chamber-time needs date for sure. Also, he might want AM/PM indicator or the good old 24-hrs movt. I stand...corrected. Thanks. MG
  8. Ahh I see. I
  9. Fellows. Nothing to see here, except IMHO a damned good question: Dies(did) the no-date Seadweller exist? As a rep too? Can
  10. This is for a weird toolwatch-project. It seems a stupid question, but remember, "there are no stupid questions, only stupid people" and I guess I
  11. Amazing, rolli! Every time you share a project, I feel the same. First envy, then appreciation. You have a wonderful feeling for quality and detail. BTW - love the buckle of course. Mastergod
  12. Everything is always in the eye of the beholder, even the truth. I love the brown dial, and having seen the group shots, I really like brown bezels too. Black and grey? Love that too.
  13. Wow. I
  14. Way to go!!! So much better to pay more for a great watch than "making do" with a standard rep. The one shown is truly amazing - it
  15. OK...just remember that lots of members are waiting for YOUR pics whenever your project is done!!! You don
  16. Hot Damn! You ask a lot of questions, outlandos! Good! Because thats how we learn. But another way of learning is by searching the forums yourself, or approaching ajoesmith and ask if he
  17. If I were you, I
  18. Love your thick dots and indexes! Better than the puny gen ones IMHO. Great combination of dial/hands/case/strap. A bold watch you just wanna hit someone in the head with. MG
  19. How about this? These cabinets - or any watch cabinet - should feature small, corretly angled UltraViolet downlights in them so that the lume would always glow like hell, even in daylight...Surely this would give the prospect customer a unique product/brand experience when passing the window or being inside a pam-shop, and especially when trying the watch. Cheesy perhaps, but don
  20. Agreed CBR. But it looks very unique, well done!! If you
  21. I agree! Life evolves around achieving difficult goals. So, we become interested in expensive things. And then we buy them. And then we realize the interest was unjust. And then we sell them. And then we forget that the interest was unjust and start looking for a replacement. Damn I love watches. Hope they love me back.
  22. Wristshot to follow completion of strap:) MG
  23. EDIT/UPDATE NEW PICS OF WATCH ON SAVAGE STRAP. Strap: Savage minimal-stitch bund-style with sewn-in GPF. Buckle was vintagized and then copper plated. The reason for bund-style: According to science, copper against the skin is bad for you (as mil_sub kindly points out in the thread below). Comments on finished strap: It sure is big. Beautiful work by our friend Savage. I can
