Hey Maikel - the GPF buckle picture you use in your signature area in posts - is it a genuine buckle? The font is different from others I've seen.

Fair enough. But at least superlume it!? Those who commission decent quality reps must realize that with a strong utilitarian trend in watches, powerful lume is more important than ever. And as we have seen reported on this site, Super Lumova is easily outshined by cheaper products from the likes of GlowInc. Also, Orange lume is just as easily obtainable as standard colours such as green or white. Furthermore, as U-Boat and others demonstrate, there will be an increased demand for a wider lume palette on rep-worthy utilitarian watches, so let's get cracking. Hope to see a lume-improvement on the orange 42 mm and on reps in general

Hi To replace the strap I suggest you contact a local leathersmith and simply have him make a new one. It's a simple design. That way you can control the result and get extreme quality...

Any watch can be used as a compass (in the northern hemisphere) One: point the hour hand directly toward the sun. Two: halfway between this point and twelve o clock mark is the North South axis. Three: Depending on wether the sun is going up or down, you' can now establish the East West axis So then you'll know where is North (however allow for 30 mins error margin) Using the Arktos saves you about two seconds. But in the Arctic, time and snow is all you have. Personally, I wouldn't use a metal watch in below 40C
