  1. Horrible after shots; no offense--it just doesn't look professional, or presentable for that matter. Hope it's correctable. Is that glue or varnish on the dial? It can still be seen through the glass after it's been reassembled, especially the biggest stain near 6 o'clock. Just observationally speaking--not intending to put down either party.
  2. Just saw "Lust, Caution". Pretty good, but could have been better.
  3. How tacky; I'm sure it will be loved by all those who wear blinged out watches or clothing with the designer's name written across the front.
  4. Out of curiosity though--to ssurfer--do you have any shots of this piece from the side? That would determine if I would buy it. Thanks.
  5. Oh--that site. Never new the name of the dealer associated with that one. Avoiding that schmuck like the plague--he's become overly corrupted in his listings & is a bestswiss.com in the making.
  6. No, I just wanted to know which site Tony deals for because I'm unfamiliar with it. (i.e., trustytime=Andrew, perfectclones=Josh, etc.)
  7. Where's the link to the site's listing where you purchased it? Sorry--not familiar with Tony. Thanks.
  8. Gen; period.
  9. Choose Your Own Adventure reference. 100 points for obscurity.
  10. No pics?
  11. Kodak moments: Oedipus; first date.
  12. Noooo--never polish the bracelet sides on this model; screams "fake". To add a little gen-sheen to the brushed steel, I went over it with one of these and some Barkeepers Friend & water: http://www.bostonwatchexchange.com/servlet...inishing/Detail http://www.fridgefilters.com/bar-keepers-friend-powder.html Then hit it with a polishing cloth...NOT Cape Cod. http://www.amazon.com/Pierce-This-2-Polish...y/dp/B0007OEZ9G
  13. I believe the wireless does work--it was offered on one website as a flash accessory to the G9. Yeah, unless you're willing to drop $5000 on the real Leica, the Dlux models suck ass. Too much noise in low light & too soft a picture. The lighting I haven't done any shots with yet--and until I see it against flesh in post-production, I won't know if it reflects true white or not. And if she gives me permission to post some pics, I will in the ol' Girls thread.
  14. Thanks--it's just the $200 ETA from Andrew--had it a little more than a year or so.
  15. Most of my new digital camera & lighting equipment is in & just from playing around with it, it's better than expected. Only waiting on a few backdrops & reflectors. No, these aren't clear pro pics; just a couple of quick snap-shots with my old camera: I'm excited to get seriously shooting again this weekend. I've got two girls who needs some studio shots & proof sheets for the 2008 Playboy casting call for FL, and then I'm fooling around with my favorite, IR nature photography (weather permitting). I was skeptical about getting a non-SLR Canon to shoot pro again with--as I only shot Nikon & Mamiya (for medium format) in the past--but this piece with all it's accessories (Polarizers, Hoya R72 IR filters, lenses, adapters, etc.) & the ability to record jpeg & RAW simultaneously (not to mention the beauty of post-production in the newest version of PSC3) put out some damn good shots:

Just screwing around with my new camera--need to actually read the instruction booklet. Overcast, so the lighting isn't the greatest, but it seems to be a popular model, so I figured you might enjoy it.
  17. It's not because of the looks, it's because Lafave had much better lawyers. Some of the people are actually stupid enough to go with a public defender.
  18. Lol! The "pupil-shagging market". Where there's no recession & shares always trade high.
  19. Merci. Corrected.
  20. http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/02/19/teache...x.ap/index.html I think I actually prayed for something like this when I was in school...no such luck; and now they're coming out of the @#&!!ing woodwork! I should have gotten Debra Lafave's phone # from her ex's friend when I had the chance... __________________
