Many thanks for this review. I was very tempted to get this watch but then the hublot tourby came out. I'm debating which to get...I need a touby in my collection.

I never heard of a sec at 9 with un-aligned pusher and crown (unless the case was redrilled). The 7750 movement has them aligned and I have a couple of MWB too.

Isn't the bezel screw held by a nut? I don't think there are threads in the watch.

sander's method is the way to go with the least mods...it involves fitting on a date overlay after cutting away some of the plate under the dial. It's not easy but it requires fewer parts.

I've never seen lume get baked and turn that dark. Was some sub-par superluminova used or a lume mix? It looks great tho

there are chinese tourby's with the hands in the center of the watch. Why did the ref factories use an off-center movement? Rep could have been alot better...but it is an awesome looking watch as is.

Awesome work! U did a great job lining up the tachy marks. I'll trade the correct tachy ring for the watch (- your gen dial)...and you can start over on another mod

SMP crystals vary alot depending on the maker. I've seen SMP crystals that are interchangeable with the 42mm POs.

I think around $50 for tube and crown. It is a very easy mod. Threads are on the inside of the tube for the hen...a huge tale of most rep SMPs.

But the city of sails is completely inaccurate (although its my top 3 watch design wise). The straps of the AP ROO's are not that bad. End links u see are removable and holds the strap to the watch. If u get one with a leather or rubber strap, no conversion kit is needed. But if u get a bracelet ROO, u will need a conversion kit. The rubber strap is one of the best on the market and of VERY high quality. Get the rubber strap from the dealer which I think includes the endlinks for around ~90. As dealers go, Josh and Trusty are suppose to be some of the best (but I don't buy from them routinely).

yes, that is a Rubens Barrichello. Rep has a few flaws...mainly the non-skeleton face plate.

Regardless, its probably cheap because its Quartzx and not auto.

I'd buy that AP jewelery if it come available...especially the necklace and black strap sans diamonds. Looking for a survivor strap as well.
