  1. Man, I still have a lot to learn on these lesser known models!
  2. I thought both the 036 and 082 were provided with calibre OP II movements. Aren't these Swiss Unitas with engraved bridges? It would be awesome to have a set of engraved bridges but you would only see them with the back off. For now the bridges would be wrong but there should be bunches of these. I may build one of these two but I'm with you Korneevy, can't wait for Rollie to roll out the 201a!
  3. Share with us Rolli, what do you have ready? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Markie, mine came in yellow with no lume...the resin is open on the back. I've been thinking of loading the back with super lume.
  5. The link to the ebay sale is for a 5513 not a milspec 5517. They are supposedly supplying a milspec now but I haven't seen it posted yet. I like everyone else would like to know more about the accuracy of the outside case. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  6. I am interested as well. Does anyone know if this is gen construction? Can you post a link?
  7. Yep the printer did SD no favors. The center of the p and o have ink bled into them. The original test dials had serifs also. As I understand it the guy doing the pad printing ruined an entire run. It is a pity that w hith all the work that Steven put in that they would make a mess of the cherry on top. 8. The wait is over! Finally thawing out from the snowstorm the postman arrived today. Unpacked and shot some quick pics before starting to change out the dial. Great work Steven! Thanks for hanging in there and producing a great looking dial! I will post more up after I get her in the case.
  9. Now it's tracking in California. So strange...
  10. Mine is tracking but in new York since Feb 2. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  11. If I remember correctly it is a 29mm. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Not interested in selling at present, took a good bit of work and I'm still enjoying it for now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. Here's a shot that shows how incredible the detail on an OEM dial is...
  14. Ordered at the end of October. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. Yep the GMT dial and hands are Noob Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Definitely gen. It's just camera angle. You can see more details here... http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=219469
  17. I would like to know this process as well. Anyone been through this yet? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  18. Here is a photo with the gen dial installed. I haven't changed out the rep crystal yet. And here is my GMT using the same base watch, a TC bezel, and a gen insert.
  19. I asked BK about this and he pointed me to these that Andrew has. These are the ones with the crooked 12 markers. As I understand they were the base for his Transformer watches. I bought two this year and one is now a transformer GMT with gen Pepsi insert and the other is a gen dialed 16570. These use gen construction and will take a gen spec bezel assembly, dial size and crystal. http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_4&products_id=9248 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  20. Same diameter as the Sternkreuz hw304 which is 30.35mm. I used a dome that I pulled from a Silex 6538 that I replaced with the proper height Sternkreuz. This is too tall for the Bond watch but I think it is cool here. Overall height is somewhere around 5mm. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  21. That's a beauty Adrian! Can't hardly wait, it's like Christmas again. Has anyone received one of the 201a's yet? Great job SD, I know it was a long road to get these done.
  22. As promised, here are more pics. I finished last night. Changed out the sapphire for a plexi-dome and added a freshly dressed leather NATO.
  23. There have been several different versions of stealth ceramics posted in the last week. I really like the look and last night seeing one of PBdad's creations spurred me on. I had a big crown ceramic no date in the works that I have repurposed now as a stealth. Here's a photo of the first mock up after shaving the crown guards and fitting a 8mm Aythaya crown/Tube. The bezel and case have been satin brushed and the insert is now stealthed out. When I finish final assembly and choose a strap I'll post up the results.
  24. Just received tracking number! It is now on the slow boat on the way to me. I will post up photos when it arrives...
