  1. I'd like to say I was surpised and horrified by this news, but this kind of incompetence, negligence, and disregard for citizens is quickly becoming the trademark of a government that see's us as nothing more than a source of tax revenue and cannon fodder for it's wars. That is the worst thing about being an American at this point in history. Because we live in what some still call a democracy, and are allowed to "vote," people abroad think that the things done by the U.S. Government and Military are done with the endorsement of the people. And when the rest of the world retaliates against America, it is most often the same citizens that disapprove of their government that fall victim to retribution. The saddest part of all is that the populous has been lulled into complacence with relative luxury, and fattened and made sick with everything from marketing poisonous non-food to our children, to overmedicating citizens for every conceivable malady, no matter how petty or insignificant. In short, our Rogue government is no longer in check, and because of it's insidiousness, corruption, and power it has gained over all of it's citizens and much of the world, I fear it will never be put back in check but through some catastrophic world war, which may very well be looming on the horizon. Edited to add the following: I just realized that by posting this, I have probably been put on some kind of double whammy suspicious persons database where the government monitors the behavior and comings and goings of citizens that both dislike the government and collect replica watches. I pray that you all will remember me once the flame that fuels my posts is extinguished by the men in black.
  2. "Yes, Breed Specific Legislation is wrong, but it's not Nazi Germany." you are of course correct, but you must concede that every flood starts with a single, seemingly insignificant drop of rain. A goverment that no longer serves the interest of the people is slowly eroding our freedoms on all fronts, and those who now say it was only breed specific pet legislation will be the same ones scratching their heads in 100 years when you have to live in fear, and present your papers at checkpoints to travel between states, and wonder, how did this come to pass. And the answer will ring clear, "slowly and a precious little bit at a time." Bryan
  3. Let me shed some light....I am a regular customer of EL's and I thought I was getting the silent treatment. Turns out his spam filter turned hateful on me and started kicking out my messages before he ever saw them. Try pm'ing him on one of the boards, or sending him an email from an alternate email account; that's what I had to do.
  4. no way bro...I am still all torqued up waiting to see the final product. Having nice clear pictures is the next best thing to wearing it.
  5. Does anyone remember seeing pictures of this project watch at the old RWG? Who was the member that was working on this, and what became of it. I am dying to see the end result.
  6. looks like someone took an alpha and just printed a different name on it.
  7. I wear my 2893 029GMT while working out, but I Have to take it off and put it in my pocket when I use the cable gym for flys, crossovers, etc.
  8. Can someone post or pm me Paul's gallery or site?
  9. I would look into setting up a hybrid Foundation / Trust in Panama. This is one of the most air tight ways to protect your assets and privacy.
  10. This question is best answered by an excerpted conversation between King Arthur and a Peasant named Dennis from Monty Python and the Holy Grail from 1975: A - "how do you do good lady. i am arthur, king of the britains. whose castle is that? PW - "king of the who?" A - "the britains." PW - "who are the britains?" A - "well we all are. we are all britains. and i am your king"
  11. I usually don't post that much, but this thread caught me having a martini after work, so I thought I'd share a recent discovery of mine that has made the pursuit of martini inbibation even more pleasurable that it already is, or was...depending on whether or not you agree with me. I have discovered what I deem to be, and what others have fervently agreed is, the perfect martini. *2 shot's grey goose or tito's handmade vodka (tito's is a local brand made here in Austin, TX) *half a jigger of olive juice (from olives that are stuffed with lemon zest) *Swirl vermouth around in the martini glass then pour it out *throw in a shaker with a fist full of ice *add one drop of Habenero pepper sauce (not two...just one drop) into the bottom of your martini glass *skewer two lemon zest filled olives on a wooden or glass toothpick and add to glass *gently shake the martini in shaker 10 times as not to "bruise" the vodka *pour shaken martini over olives and single drop of habenero sauce *enjoy *repeat 5 times, kiss your PAM 00029 2893 GMT goodnight and pass out next to disapproving wife. ***************The Perfect Martini******************
  12. Egold had a history of being easily hacked and having no recourse once it happens. I would consider E-bullion. They are owned by an old established company, and they have amazing security protocols.
  13. the delta in the price and your expectation is due to the authentic swiss valjoux 7750 movement. You may rely upon getting your money's worth on anything you order from Josh's site.
  14. Tenacious_b Derived from my fanatic appreciation of Jack Black and Kyle Gas's rock duo (Tenacious D) and my first name, Bryan. One of my buddies starting calling me that back in 1999, and it just stuck.
  15. wife and I each drive Infiniti G35 Sedan's; hers a white 2003 and mine a desert platinum 2004, maxed out. You can't get more car for the $$
  16. My wife and I both drive G35's, a 2003 in white and a 2004 in desert platinum. You simply cannot get more car for the money. I have been an infiniti patron for 10 years, and I don't forsee every buying anything but. FX45 is my wife's next choice....very nice pics....
  17. Figured I'd chime in on this since I have only EVER purchased from Eddie. Eddie's english is as good as mine, as I can attest to having several business and personal email conversations with him. And the second thing is if Eddie Lee says it, you may rely on it. Period. Eddie is the man. Now, that being said, I am not and never would knock any other dealer, but after my many purchases from EL, I have no reason to switch. Eddie Lee is a reputable businessman, a gentleman, and the destroyer of many a pint.
  18. Cajun Frog - I have a friend of a friend whose business is helping people import stuff from China legally. PM me your contact information, and the specs on the tractor, and I'll see if the guy can help you.
  19. Not to get off topic, but I have got to know where you got your avatar picture, and who that is....
  20. So what's the verdict on the IWI's? Are they good? Worth the price?
