Yes. Cement the crown in place. As the gaskets & threads age/wear, the crown's position (when screwed down) changes, which is normal. You need to find something else to fixate on other than the crown position.

I believe all 7750-powered Daytona reps come as auto-winders. The owner must remove the auto-wind module to convert to manual himself (or have his watchmaker do it).

Ammonia (as used in many glass cleaners) will remove most AR.

The timecart watch looks like a standard 626x rep (with all the usual dial sins - wrong fonts, wrong crown, small subdials, etc), nothing special that I can see. & you are literally throwing the dice if you are expecting to receive a Swiss 7750. Have you checked the dealers listed on RWG to see if they have (or can source) the same watch? If not, I would start there since our dealers are known quantities. Another option is to buy a standard 6263 (which most dealers have) & buy a steel bezel (ebay, etc) & swap it with the plastic bezel. Instant 6265.

I am not familiar with the dealer & it is unlikely the movement is Swiss. In any case, pics or a direct link to the watch in question would help. & the (genuine) 6265 came with a black dial as well

Many optometrists will accept a watch crystal for AR. Of course, these are sent out to a lab for the coating (unless you know someone, the labs do not generally deal at the retail level). A local optometrist AR'd the area of the crystal below the cyclops on my TT GMTC

Yes, DW is not known for having good bracelets. I would replace it with a gen (as I always do), nice strap or 1 of Yuki's bracelets. & be prepared to do a bit of modding to get another bracelet to fit (a common problem).

These are steel hands (made for a Rolex 1030) that I had plated with gold (prior to baking)

I think you will find that baking (with a pinch of iodine) results in an appearance similar to the hands in your link

It looks like a v726, which is an uprated V72, so it should be fine

I am not sure about the rusty hands (never seen that much rust on gen hands before), but I love the case & dial. Beautiful. This watch needs a good bracelet, preferably gen or Yuki-quality. Nice work.

Do not use ammonia-based glass cleaners on AR. Once the coating is damaged/smeared, the only option is re-coating. Check with a local optician to see if 1 of their suppliers will recoat it for you.

Search out 'epoxy' in reference to chrono hands & 'powdered graphite'. You might also search out Ziggy's many threads detailing the inherent problems with secs @ 6 7750s.
