Just got my Swiss ultimate V2 and I'm in love!

I just wanted to say how lucky we are here on RWG to have great people like Watchmeister among us. I recently bought a watch from him (one that he wasn't even selling) and not only did he put up with my constant emailing and give me a fantastic price, he spent way too much on shipping to get the watch from NY to Taiwan in 3 days! What a champ! And now, thanks to him I have one of my dream watches. A Swiss powered V2 Ploprof. Thanks again Watchmeister, you're a hellova guy!

Please forgive me, I'm trying to wrap my head around this... the Officine Panerai engravings on the gen are actually upside down??? with the crown on the right (as in the pic) the watch must have been turned vertically, if so the dial would be upside down (to the holder) but the engravings on the movement are right side up? is that right?

It should be good to go With the closed case back, you don't have to worry about the movement issues. I'm sure the lume is good You might want to get it waterproofed and throw on a sexy strap Enjoy

I think it's fine. The straight on shot of the face isn't straight on, it's up and a little to the right, which changes the perspective. If you look at where the reflection of the camera is, and then compare it to your IWC 5002 QC pics, you'll see the difference. If you look at the pic of the watch on the timegrapher, it looks like it's past 10. just a thought

I agree with you, but if I was going to spend a big chunk of cash on a gen, I wouldn't want every Tom, [censored] and Harry to be sporting a rep of the same model. I think it detracts from the exclusivity. Luckily for me, I doubt I'll ever buy a gen and have that problem... oh, crap

I'm confused.. if Santi received a non working watch as he says, then took it to a watchsmith whom he says couldn't fix it because they didn't have "Chinese parts", but Andy received the watch in overall good working order then who in the heck does Santi think fixed it???? Is the postal system doing repairs now? I don't mean to make light of a crappy situation but I'm very confused. and I think it would be wise to take a Panerai needing repair to a shop that can actually spell Panerai...
