  1. I think that is my favorite Freddy watch.
  2. This movement Yuki is selling is not the same one TC was talking about. TC's v2 movement was finished at an almost gen level. He put up a picture of the new movement when he made the post.. but removed it about 30 minutes later. It looked gen, really.
  3. I meant to ask, what type of bezel construction does this have? Because it's MBK, it's possible it's gen type?
  4. Very nice cyphion, Pm sent with additional questions
  5. Feelin different today.
  6. My 5512 is really just a support system for my 702
  7. That's a smokin Tudor sgtguk! That came out great
  8. Thank you Freddy. I have not seen any used 702's in awhile. All of them new on ebay are 3-400$ Has anyone seen phong's in person?
  9. I've been patient and watched the rolex forums and auctions and never seen a gen 16610 case go for less than 2200$ over the last year and a half. If someone does better than that it would be due to connections or a buddy. Although I have not seen Phongs 16610 in person, if it's like his 1665 and 5514 cases...it's probably a level higher than the ones we are discussing here.
  10. Hmmm...I thought I had seen gold mercedes hands for DG at Rafflestime?
  11. Oh I don't know aero, your talking about developing and machining hundreds of parts and then R&D for just one new movement. I doubt that even if we had a mess pre sold that we could influence them. But put me down on the list if that gets organized
  12. Well duh! Bonsey@ other places= Bones here! I recognized some of the watches, you always do such nice work..cheaper reps and parts not withstanding!
  13. "Is it safe?"
  14. When the complete watch with this(or similar) movement came out way back when...no one wanted to buy the whole watch. It looks like they may have fixed the stem problem too. That top bridge piece I showed above can be had for 2-300$...same as the rotor. So for 600$ or so you have a very good looking movement and hopefully this pans out to be a great running movement. I think I am going to order one for my TC I still wish they did this with the 1520 and 1570....Freddy's right, as gen parts are getting harder to get every day, more gen owners are going to be using more aftermarket parts...there should be a good market for several different Rolex movement clones.
  15. Peter Fonda has a similar GMT, but all yellow gold rootboor and wears it in several of his movies too...including Easy Rider
  16. I wonder if this fits
  17. No markings, I wonder if a gen rotor will fit and work?
  18. That's really cool!
  19. Good catch cc33...I go away for 30 minutes.....lol
  20. Wow watcher! Crazy fast! Look forward to seeing pictures and a review
  21. Great trio of subs R! Rsh is a great modder in his own right guys..for those that might not know. I bought my first good sub from him way back in the dark ages (Old school swiss noob Jmb turned into a 14060) I like your Invicta also, I have never seen one of those in the flesh. Wear them well!
  22. Spend some time on The Vintage Rolex Market (http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/) and The Rolex Forum (https://www.rolexforums.com/). They are often sold at far better prices than ebay, but if you are patient, ebay will produce deals too.
  23. Not my favorite look either, but many gen owners do, usually the RubberB brand. They're very comfortable if you haven't tried one.
