  1. Nice collection and welcome to the forum Consider installing genuine bezel inserts w pearls in the 1665, 1680, and 5512.. as there are no great rep inserts for these.
  2. Very nice iRolexu, Great list of parts, it came out killer! Did Matt service the movement himself?
  3. If I was headed in this direction Ephry....I would go ahead and spring for gen hands and dial. In fact I might do just that with my TC 16610.
  4. Aero, maybe contact Jmb and see if he can make a dial for you. I don't know if he's doing them now but you can ask. Here's the one he made me.
  5. Watches are kinda like women, your view will change over time
  6. Rym, Standard rep rivet like yours has a different construction and thicker/solid links and removable endlinks.. the gen's links are hollow and thinner and the endlinks are built in..... once you see this your ruined. The Yuki and NDT are good copies with gen type construction, and that's why they cost so much more. Looking at yours you can see how thick the links are, anyone that knows this spots it instantly. Beautiful watch you have BTW
  7. Still wearing my 702...attached to a 5512.
  8. In general, bezels do not play well with other brand retaining rings, at least not for me. If you use the Clark 5513 bezel, use the retaining ring that comes with it. Clarks T19 or gen T19 should be a perfect fit to the new bezel and ring. The retaining ring has to be installed with a press. I have lost a few bezels, but never the whole assembly. I wonder if yours was pressed in and fully installed in the first place? Also Freddy might be right about that [censored]. Keep us posted on the outcome.
  9. Both are top shelf, congrats
  10. DW has non gen bezel construction (paperclip wire) and also 1680 is a larger dial than 5513/Tudors @ 26mm
  11. I want a 1520 and 1570
  12. SSD for me today
  13. Get a box of "Damp-it" at the grocery store and put the watch in it. Dry rice also works to remove moisture..I did that with a cell phone once and worked well.
  14. 1963 Corvette Stingray. The first one with independent suspension and real usable horsepower. I learned to drive in that car. Oh yeah, my 350Z was made in Georgia
  15. MBW Eurouwhatever beater today
  16. Neither the SSD or the new superlumed SD are 1:1. They dont take gen parts and no one other than what I mentioned has been able to replace the crystal.
  17. Thanks for the confirmation auto, that is roughly what I remembered.
  18. Ahhh..you should be good to go
  19. If you bought a gen bezel without the gen retaining ring it probably won't work with the TC.
  20. Your correct alligoat, and good advice. I assumed.. as the other poster he meant the new superlumed SD, but after clicking the link he means the 1665.
  21. There's a member here from overseas Deokhoon Jun that has fit a different crystal to the SSD. His watchmaker used a crystal from WSO and did a modification to the gasket. I asked him to do a tutorial on this project for us....but haven't heard back on what exact parts and what was exactly done. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything.
  22. Looks good, but you need the matching retaining ring that goes to it. These bezels often don't play well with mixed retaining rings.
  23. TC DWO, TC SD bracelet with a gen divers extension, Gen crown, tube, insert, and TC hands and be done with it. I have all this for my SSD plus TC's superlumed dial. That's about as far as you can take these watches.
