I bought the 128$ PO from josh when these first came out and love it too... But..now I have the mod itch and want to swap dial,hands,crown and He. I just found out since I have the DG4813 movement...it's not gonna work. Wish I had researched more. I guess I will have to buy another Po with the ETA.

Who sells the nicest pearls? I was thinking about ordering from Ofrei or from watch materials just mentioned. Also.. does the epoxy pearl mod look better if well done? The pearl is the worst part on all my reps and I'm chompin at the bit to learn modding! Thanks in advance!

I don't think that's what he's saying. I got the same email with the same comments from Josh. At the time (end of dec) there was a thread on RG where someone posted QC pics from Josh and many were picking apart the 5th gen PO. Since I was buying the PO..his price was good and service was great.. thought the email made sense at the time..kinda thought it was personal..lol ..but now I think he sent the same email to lot's of people. Being new to the rep game and these forums, I didn't question it.

I have never been much of a bracelet guy, and although the one that came on my PO is really nice, I put a Maratac silicone strap on and I love it. It's very comfortable and has a great deployment.

Thanks for the replies. Being new here and reading about waterproofing, I assumed it was necasary with these reps. It makes sense to have the watch tested..and go from there. One thing I'm curious about..if you take your watch to a mall or somewhere and have it tested..... and it leaks crazy... what next? Maybe I'm missing something but if during the test it gets full of water...you need to have skills and tools ready?

Hi everyone, Just received my 42mm PO from Josh and love it! I have looked around and read several tutorials on waterproofing... and particularly waterproofing DSSD. I see they open that watch and seal the HE from inside with epoxy.. and then seal the case and crown with silicone. Since I am new at this and have never opened a watch before, I wonder what's wrong with sealing the PO's HE from the outside with epoxy? I was wondering your thoughts on this? Also.... this is a wonderful place for learning this hobby and I'm glad I found you guys!

Awesome post! Great pictures and info too. I ordered one and it shipped yesterday. I am kinda wishing I had gotten the swiss movement now.
