Ummmmm your profile says "female". Easy to change.
Another thought: I drive an all stock '63 Land Rover. When the inevitable happens and I have to replace the chassis, and I drop in a small block V8, will it still be a Land Rover?
There are several aftermarket versions available, riveted or non, and all have errors. You pays yer money and picks yer poison.
MQ, Phong and Yuki have the most accurate folded riveted bands, and there's a much higher quality version available for cheap that's way too thick. One step forward, 2 steps back.
GolfPunk, you know if you stick around you might learn some things and make some friends here.
Take a close look at the band on your Daytona. Are you sure someone didn't sell you a replica band? The color/tone of the steel is wrong and the end links don't fit the case properly.
See... that's the kind of knowledge you can gain here. With an open mind. I dare say there are people here who have forgot more about high end watches than most will ever learn.
Thanks but I can't take credit for them, most are from the Alaska Sled Dog Racing Association.
But the 3rd picture in the first set? Here's my take on it...
Yeah, people say these dogs are abused and they're forced to run. The truth is, a good lead dog is hard headed and often does what he thinks is best, not what the musher wants. He keeps the team safe and fast.
If they don't want to run, nothing you can do will make them. If they DO want to run, try to hang on!
I drove almost 400 miles today through the heart of Alaskan wilderness in near hurricane force winds and blinding sunlight on pure white snow. It was glorious.
