You think so, huh? He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good... Kindly olde Elf, or CIA spook?

Good Lord, has it been 4 years since the Exodus? It's been great breaking bread with you, Double-T. Let's do it again soon. I'm honored to be a small part of this amazing place called RWG, and can't wait to see what the new year holds! "We few, we happy few. We band of brothers." MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

Welcome Dems! So when are you coming back to Alaska? We still gotta have that beer down at Tern Lake. Lots has changed... PAMs are thick here (but we have plenty of disinfectant). Other dive watch brands have crept into certain members' watch boxes (cough) and as you said, the standards for the biz are higher than ever. Omni drops by once in awhile, other (in)famous names have moved on to other gigs. Do some reading and you'll track 'em down. Welcome aboard!

Are you kidding?? This is the most wonderful time of the year!!

I'd have to estimate it was just under 6000 degrees.

Pieces from this era are supposed to be gloss, not matte. Sheesh.

You KNOW that's a rep because the feet are at the 10:30 and 12:00 positions. As seen here, 10:30 and 6:00 are more appropriate:

Ah, that was powerful my friend. Thank you. Here's a favorite of mine: Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the Feast of Stephen, When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even; Brightly shone the moon that night, tho' the frost was cruel, When a poor man came in sight, gath'ring winter fuel. "Hither, page, and stand by me, if thou know'st it, telling, Yonder peasant, who is he? Where and what his dwelling?" "Sire, he lives a good league hence, underneath the mountain; Right against the forest fence, by Saint Agnes' fountain." "Bring me flesh, and bring me wine, bring me pine logs hither: Thou and I will see him dine, when we bear them thither." Page and monarch, forth they went, forth they went together; Through the rude wind's wild lament and the bitter weather. "Sire, the night is darker now, and the wind blow stronger; Fails my heart, I know not how; I can go no longer." "Mark my footsteps, my good page. Tread thou in them boldly Thou shalt find the winter's rage freeze thy blood less coldly." In his master's steps he trod, where the snow lay dinted; Heat was in the very sod which the saint had printed. Therefore, Christian men, be sure, wealth or rank possessing, Ye who now will bless the poor, shall yourselves find blessing.

Ah, not to worry... I've got mine and I'm happy. I've been writing to the seller and he verifies the crown is NOT signed. I'm waiting for a response whether it screws down properly. Regardless, like DLuddy says these are very valuable... oppornockity tunes once. Twice, if you're very very lucky.

What, you don't like cheap shavers? Yeah it would be crazy to have another one come up after all this time. They were each engraved by hand and sent out as demo pieces by US Divers. Never for sale to the general public.

Okay gents, I know I've bored you all to death with photos of my Doxa Black Lung. As far as the collectors I've spoken with know, there are approximately 4 of these watches in the world. Maybe 5. RIGHT NOW on the 'Bay there's another Black Lung for sale. I cannot reach the lads that have the other ones, and it may be that one of them is selling his via this Outlet. Or this might be another one surfacing after all these years. I wrote to the seller and have not yet got a reply. I know mine is engraved as #4. This is a huge opportunity. I predict it will go for around $2,000 but for that price you're getting a piece that, in the Rolex world, would be six figures. I have requested additional pictures to show the crown, to ensure it's accurate and signed DOXA. If not... those are impossible to find too. It has a cheesy bracelet on it, but just today I won an auction for 5 genuine vintage "Beads of Rice" Doxa bracelets and endlinks. These too are completely unobtainable. So if you bought today's Black Lung, I'd make you a killer deal on one of my bracelets and you'd have a complete watch too. Anyway, if I hadn't already bought one, I'd be all over it. Now the cat's out of the bag, so GO GET 'EM!!! Doxa Black Lung

You guys found a picture of Fluffly! that's actually pretty rare, most of the time we have to wait for the camera to, um, "pass" after he eats the photographer, and then the pictures are usually ruined. Excellent! Were sorta excited too because he's shaping up to be a pretty good dog when he grows up. He's sorta puny now..... -
Here's from a couple winters ago... Happy Holidays!

Budlight ..... "lime"?? Do we even want to know what that is?? Everyone's heard the phrase "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." When we did the mass exodus over here there was a core group, and it's evolved a lot from there. We have been blessed by having many great new members join, and over time this has become what is, in my humble opinion, far and away the finest group on the web. There is just a certain class about this place that attracts classy people (warts and all). The community feeling here is amazing, and I've made some dear, dear friends. I tend to watch for what I call the "sweet spots" in life. You know, when everything sort of falls into place and it's just *perfect* for awhile. It can happen in relationships, at work, in your sports pursuits... and we sometimes don't recognize it until just after it's gone. To my thinking, this is one of those events. A sweet spot. To that end, I offer Shakespeare's finest, the Speech of St. Crispin: This day is called the feast of Crispian: He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named, And rouse him at the name of Crispian. He that shall live this day, and see old age, Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours, And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian:' Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars. And say 'These wounds I had on Crispin's day.' Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages What feats he did that day: then shall our names. Familiar in his mouth as household words Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter, Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester, Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd. This story shall the good man teach his son; And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by, From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remember'd; We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition: And gentlemen in England now a-bed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
