I'll probably not buy anything for a week or so, but I wanted start looking around to see what I like first. I've been on a PAM rep spree of late but the time has possibly come to look for my next gen. I'm going to head to an Omega AD tomorrow and look around, but I'd really like a Pam too. I know this is personal preference kind of thing, but any suggestions? I'm on business in CA right now (fremont) so I may have to go into San Fran to find a Pam AD, but there's an Omega dealer nearby.

^ Yeah, maybe that was the new F1 model? I believe all the F1 TAGs are Quartz, and the base Link line are all quartz as well.

You've got the 5517 Rep, not the bond rep. The "Bond" was the one pictured - although I'm not good enough to tell if that's real/fake

Ed, was this a one time order or are you going to continue carrying this watch for a while? I have to cool it on reps for while, but i'm interested in getting this IWC in the near future.

There's a long thread on it in the IWC forum. I've had great experiences with EL - so i'm hoping that maybe he just jumped the gun a bit in the timing of offering this watch and that is the reason for the delay. On the other hand - as much as I want that watch I'm glad I waited to pull the trigger.

I've gotten 2 watches from Paul, the 2nd time I had to call WU after it failed online but the agent had no problems sending the money. On a side note, Paul has always been an excellent dealer to me.

It is a stunning watch, but I would never spend that much on a rep. For a grand i'd much rather save a bit more and get a gen - or a couple of "regular priced" reps. Actually right now an extra thousand dollars would go into my car

I'm with you on the etched crown, but the pictures are a little blurry, hard to tell.

airport watch watching update for my latest trip: Nothing much but a couple of subs. one guy on the rental car tram with a TT black dial Sub was eyeballing my PAM 127 rather intently

I actually saw a picture of someone else's PAM here with the strap like that and decided to try it out. I find it easier and quicker to put the strap on/off that way.

I wish my camera wasn't lost, so here are some crappy phone pics: I just got home saturday from travel (course i'm leaving again tomorrow) to find my new (used) Pam 127 waiting. Also got my Breitling GT back from The Zigmeister (repair - Thanks Rob!). Joy of joys, also waiting for me were 3 straps - A toscana for the 127, an OF Black for my PAM 088 and also my rubber OP strap for my 088. Finally, i picked up my new BOB black leather strap for the Breitling today. Needless to say, i've changed watches about 4 times today alone. I'm currently wearing the GT on the black BOB strap - earlier was the 127 and before that my 088 on rubber deployant. I woke up with my Gen Tag Heuer Link on. Now some really crappy pics: Sorry, no pic of the GT on the BOB strap yet.

I'm all for a 'perfect' rep, but i can live with the flaws. I'd much rather see new reps of previously un-replicated watches than new versions of watches we can already get.

This was posted on a forum i frequent, only shot I have. The angle is bad, but i believe it's a rep. The bezel teeth don't look right to me and the pearl doesn't look good either, but then again, i'm not a sub expert.
