I was reading an article in InSync Magazine about the new IWC Top Gun limited watch where they had this massive unveiling at a Naval museum and the journalists all got to land on an aircraft carrier...one picture even has the president of IWC standing next to a Navy Lt. Anyway I then notice the price of admittance for one of these new watches commemorating the US Navy's Elite Flight School : $10,500US Now, I realize this is an IWC, and a limited run watch - but it seems a bit of a kick in the face to the Navy to me to release this watch that costs this much. I mean that Lt in the picture if he's single makes about $48K US per year before taxes - no way he's ever going to get his hands on this watch. Seems to me the only people that'll end up owning this watch are rich wannabes who like to dream about being Maverick and Goose chasing MiGs over south pacific ocean. On a side note, the watch is pretty slick

What was capt slow wearing? I had a crappy download of the episode and I couldn't make out the details on his watch. Great show this past one, I loved May in the Bugatti.

I've heard this from a lot of people actually - it's in the water. I've also heard about people such as that fine fellow in CA shipping NY area water just to make proper bagels. I wish someone in fredericksburg would do it, all our 'bagel' shops are [censored].

Good Lord that thing looks good. I'm still on the fence as to if my next rep will be Davidsen's 111h or the 177h, and every other day someone posts a new picture of one or the other that pushes me in that direction. This pic is certainly pushing me towards the 111h!

I actually had to go into the office today for a marathon meeting this morning, so I wore my Targa Florio - my favorite for dressing up Rest of the weekend is undecided. I'll probably wear my PAM 088 GMT tomorrow and my Sub LV on sunday

Ken, what are you referring to when you comment on the Ms not being in line? First time i've heard of this flaw.

When you guys go to the AD to 'browse' do you just ask to look at a bunch of watches? Do you try them all on? I'm not really in a position to buy a gen Panerai right now - so I feel a bit weird going in and wasting their time looking at a bunch of watches then saying "cheers, I'll think about it"

I'm currently planning out my next rep - which will be another PAM - and I'm torn between Davidsen's 177h and the 111h. A friend just ordered the 177h and suggested i get the 111h and we swap back and forth LOL

I'm not normally a fan of the colored straps (outside black and tan) but that looks amazing! I've love to see it on my PAM 88!
