  1. Very interesting piece. Good luck with the sale, I was going to suggest Christie's or Sotheby's but I see that's already been done.
  2. Thanks for the info, i'll have to have my wife tivo it for me
  3. For the track: For the street, i'd source a ground up restored Series I Jaguar E-Type and send it to Eagle E-types for their super sport package http://www.eaglegb.com/supersport/ British Racing Green of course.
  4. really, who sees the caseback but you anyway? If you like the watch, get it. As chubbchubb said, the chances of you running into any VC WIS are slim to none.
  5. ^ seconded. When i was in an AD a few weeks ago, they had barometers, desk clocks, and you could order a wall clock. The barometer was about $1500.
  6. bah, get some polished CCWs Seriously though, I like the black better, and nice car man!
  7. i just funded my moneybooker's account the other day. Other than having to wait 4 days for my online statement to tell me the 'random' amount they debited my account for verification, i had no issues. WU on the other hand...my bank hates them apparently and i'm now forced to use store locations for them. what a PITA
  8. Wow, sorry you got burned, but excellent work on getting your money back and shutting them down. Too bad it looks like they've started up again.
  9. Hey neil, Since i see you in here thought I'd ping you on payment info for that Chopard GTXL via moneybookers. I finally got my account verified and I just needed to know what email address to pay you at
  10. Point taken. I don't even own a Ferrari, but I want it. More because of Ferrari F1 though
  11. LOL, i love that show.
  12. Not like the two marques aren't connected or anything
  13. Except i have a Bond NATO on today instead, no wrist shot of that strap yet.
  14. Yeah, I'm seriously considering adding it to my Chopard order Great review Neil.
  15. Network traces back to France if that helps, could be a spoof though.
  16. I'm talking laptops and desktops. Dell and other major manufacturers put stickers on the cases that tear or destroy themselves if you open the case - that way if you do call them and they come to look at your machine they can determine if you've been inside fiddling around.
  17. I've run ide drives with long cables just sitting on my desk LOL. You should be able to crack the case of the PC open and plug it in to a free port, XP may see it as an unrecognized drive, just tell it to reinit the drive (NOT FORMAT) and you'll be good to go. On the flip side, if your new pc has a manufacturer warranty, you shouldn't open up the case - that will void the warranty. In that case, your best option is an enclosure as mentioned above. Good luck!
  18. BNIB is short for "Brand new, In box"
  19. Yeah, I looked at a black bezel PO recently and the sticker was $4400 - I didn't ask about discounts, but still that's quite a discount from $4400 to $1900.
  20. WOW, where did you find that deal? I want in on that!
  21. http://watchmywrist.com/component/option,c...tpage/Itemid,1/ It's a site that allows you to rent a watch for a week or so I guess. I'd prefer to own my watches, but I guess everyone is different. I CAN however see this as a great way for someone to get their hands on a genuine to model for a rep for a fraction of the cost
  22. Just put this on and snapped a quick shot
  23. This stuff is for real, i saw them on tv. The belt buckles cost thousands of dollars, each hand made with complicated 'buckling' mechanisms. They're interesting to look at from a mechanical point of view i guess, but I can't imagine spending that much on a belt buckle.
  24. Funny, I watched the movie and immediately wanted a Franck Muller. Am I the only one that saw that in the casino scene?
  25. I like those better than the $400 Tiffany's cufflinks I looked at a few weeks ago - which I did not buy
