  1. My wife is originally from Montana, so while we on our way from Yellowstone to Great Falls, we stopped in Bozeman. The store is very nicely done, lots of wood, high ceilings and beautiful displays for the all the watches. They had 2 prototypes out on display, the upcoming Cutthroat 42mm GMT, and a 45mm black face Sidewinder (current Sidewinder is whiteface). The 45mm had just come back from a magazine photoshoot actually, so check Watch Time or In Sync mags and you'll see the watch i tried on. They've even just released a new women's watch that my wife loved too, very simple and understated, but very dressy as well. They aren't top dollar watches, but they aren't exactly cheap either, and because of their low production numbers on each watch, the price actually goes up as they get near the end of each run. The salesman told me they usually start each new release around $3900US. Some range up to $5200US The Company is only about 19months old apparently, and they are already working on their own in house movement, but the salesman told me it takes around 24 months of development to complete. I think i'm going to start saving now and pick up whatever they put it in when it comes out. As a side note, all their watches currently use house reworked ETA movements. Sorry no pics, I didn't have my camera with me at the time, but you can see all their offerings at the website: http://www.bozemanwatch.com If any of you are in the Bozeman Montana area, check them out, the watches are gorgeous, and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable - the guy didn't mind at all that I told him i was just looking and treated me as if I was going to buy right then. And I know someone will ask...I was wearing my so called perfect LV Sub from Paul.
  2. Looks great, and a great price too! I've been thinking about the SFSO as well, and if the gen rubber strap is this cheap, I may get it sooner than later.
  3. Yeah, i think the 'feel' is where it is at too. I've looked at several Omega POs at the AD, and after getting my PO from silix, the weight is certainly the same but they don't have the same feel to them. I'm sure you're right and this is what she picked up on.
  4. haha, i picked that picture for the watch my Tag Heuer Targa Florio
  5. sure i'll bite. me: My wife: And our 'kids'

  9. speaking of characters, I think you're right. DC seems to be the only character in the current field. Irvine was the last one before DC.

  11. C6 Corvette Z06 another option, Porsche Caymen S
  12. haha, yeah, rotaries definitely sound different those are just hand signals to tell me to brake
  13. Mosport Raceway in Canada. The winery was in the Niagra region. Hey, we met and there were watches involved! I had to drive 600 miles to get there! LOL, that's a pretty good description! Here's a vid of me on track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_wcDhjYmns Here are the specs on my car: 1993 Touring stock turbos intake/exhaust/PFC ECU Koni Yellow Shocks Eibach Springs Fluidyine rad 4 pt roll bar V700 rubber that's about it really.
  14. Drove up to Canada for a track event, and slai and I and our respective wives went to do wineries. The girls were inside, we shot a quick pic of our watches: He's got the Hublot, I'm wearing my new Ferrari Chrono from Sash And an added bonus, a shot I took of slai on track today: Our cars in the paddock at Mosport
  15. That watch is gorgeous, where did you pick that up?
  16. Been a while since i took pics of all my watches together, here are a few shots. I'm putting myself on hold for a while, been going crazy of late. Chopard GTXL Asian 21j Breitling Bentley GT - My first rep. SS bracelet was too blingy, have it on a nice BOB leather strap. My Gen Tag Heuer Targa Florio, anniversary gift from my wife last year My Gen Tag Heuer Link Quartz. This was my first good watch despite being quartz. Another anniversary gift from my wife a few years back. My second rep, love this watch. It's the 'so-called' perfect LV from Paul. Watch keeps to +1 sec a day, water resistant (at least in the shower) and just a great beater watch. I actually wear this a lot when i'm working on my car. LOL The monster 127 on a custom aged MF WWII strap, aged by the previous owner of the watch. It needs a little work, (dust on dial, one of the hands is bent slightly) but it runs like a top. My two Panerai Ferraris. The first on the left is obviously one of the cheaper models, I picked it up used for a steal. That was actually my first Pam. The Chrono is the newest from Sash, an amazing piece. The Pam that gets the most wrist time, the 005. I bought this used from a forum member, put my deployant rubber strap on it, and wear it all the time. Currently scheduled for The Zigmeister service, new SL dial, and cannon pin fix. I love this watch but it needs some ziggifing as well, and I haven't gotten around to scheduling. The date doesn't want to set, and the GMT hand won't work well either. I can set the time just fine and it runs well otherwise. Omega PO, not the ultimate, but for the price I love it. Been wearing it non-stop since I got it a little over a week ago. Well, not the greatest of pictures, but hope you all enjoy.
