A little late to the game but since this was a quasi birthday/anniversary present I was wearing this today: I wore this to dinner, got a few looks actually, first time I've seen anyone notice it since i got it:

That's bad when it's the same guy that can't find your house! Our carriers usually can find the house, they just don't pay attention to who's mail they're handing out! I'm always getting other people's mail in my box - over christmas I got some poor bastards paycheck and I had to track down his house!

So I bought a PAM 088 from subzero1 who very kindly shipped it overnight for me so I could get it before I fly out on my business trip on Monday - tracking shows that it did indeed get to VA this morning and is "en route" to delivery - yet i have all kinds of junk mail in my mailbox and no WATCH! Oh well, Guess I'll just have to wait until I get home on the 14th to enjoy my new watch.

Thanks! Not a whole lot, I took it pretty slow for the first 2 years while i learned to drive then this past year things starting happening. Right now it has a downpipe, cat back, koni yellow adjustables, eibach springs, stainless steel brake lines, kirk 4 pt rollbar, harnesses, and the Apex'i Power FC. Got a few misc gauges in there too along with Carbotech pads and Kumho V700s on the track wheels and some cheap ass Fuzions for street tires AWESOME! You're much further than me if you're racing, I just started doing track events in 05 - before that i did 2 years of Autox. I'm planning on doing a BMW event June 8th-10th at Mosport so I guess I'll just miss you, bummer.

That's why i had her running in the beginner group and I was in the Intermediate group

I haven't paid to have any mods done to my admittedly small collection of reps, but I see why people do it. I look at my watches, both rep and gen, as watches first and collector pieces 2nd. I buy watches because i like them, not because i care what people think about what I'm wearing. That being said I will admit a part of me loves it when i get comments on my watch. Modding watches is a way to get more enjoyment out of something the wearer sees all the time and will give him satisfaction in something that performs/looks good. I certainly don't see it as any sort of investment. Just my .02
