  1. The TT is not to much. I almost got the full gold, but the TT is classicly sublime, and a gorgeous watch.. Bottom line....It all depend on how you carry yourself, if you are concerned about what others might think, but hey, screw their opinions. get what you want Bro
  2. I just bought the GMT 2 swiss two tone, and al,most got the full gold. The full gold looks great but when held in your hand, the gen has a much greater weight to it. My dealer advised me of this and so am waiting for the two tone to arrive in a few days. Funny thing is, I spoke to a fellow at my business today who owms the gen and was wearing it. This timepiece is a beauty.
  3. I just bought one of these. it was released last month and seems like a nice rep. Having never owned a Rollie other that a DSSD, which I promptly sold. I paid the extra 100 bucks for the swiss as it is my understanding that the second hand sweep is smoother. It should arrive next week. Any comments or thoughts on this one?

    My Dad

Nanuq, thanks for asking. My Pop has an endoscopy yesterday to attempt to drain two huge tumors on his pancreas. The one, which is apple sized was successful, as a stint was placed to drain the tumor. The second, a grapefruit size tumor, was to hardend to place a stint. The doc told me this AM that surgery is the only option. At his age and deteriorated condition, it is a huge risk. Since May this has been agonizing. Again, thank you for your concern,
  5. OK, a wristshot in a graveyard is not the most cheerful photo op , but hey, I think it is a first. This is the final resting place for residents of Fraser Colorado. My Dad lives lived there for 30 years and it is also Winter Park. The graves go back to 1847. Many are kids who could not adapt to the hard times of the 19th century. This is my trusty DSN fiddy, now 6 years old. Still runs on time and without any issues.
  6. Cartel is a term made up by another website in relation to two watch dealers who some say are price fixing the rep market. They also were associated with Pablo Escobar. DSN is an abreviation for Davidsen., a trusted dealer here, as are the alleged "cartel " members. I always got a good chuckle at others foaming about their perception of 2 watch dealers cornering the market.
  7. Josh Nano of Perfect Clones=good to excellent no worries.Buy with confidence.

    Breaking bad?

I started watching this show on Netflix two weeks ago from season 1, just watched episode 11, season 3, and they just made season 4 available. What a kick ass show this is. Never have I tried meth, but this show clearly demonstrates the powerful effect this terrible drug has on users and the dealers with their greed feeding off the victims caught in the throws of addiction. The two meth cookers/partners are so very compelling that it makes the viewer feel sympathy and a sense of concern that they will get away with making millions while devastating lives. But hey, this show rules....I love it!!

    My Dad

The responses to my post make me cry. God bless you for understanding my situation. My Dad always said that if he was in the position of being on near life support that he wanted the plug pulled. I am responsible for that, and I simply cannot make that decision. The Nurse told me that ribs are broken and it is severely traumatic to bring a patient back from a code blue. How in the bloody hell can I decide if my Daddy lives or dies?? When I talk to him, he wants only to live with me, but he needs 24 hour care. everything in life takes it's natural course, yet when faced with a dillema as I am, it sure is a tough road to travel. Thank you again for the kind words expressed. You have helped me.
  10. There is really no greater love than that of a dog and his master. The blond chow chow is Tofu, he has a bit off terrier and the black baby is a great dane/lab who weighs in at 160 lbs. Her name is Lello.

    My Dad

This is an awesome forum ,a brotherhood and random collection of decent gentlemen, (a few gentlewomen as well). Having been a member since 2006, after my very first post, as I recall, some knickers were twisted by my viewpoints. I am sorry to all who may have been offended by my odd sense of humor and unpopular points of view. Life is, as we all know a lonely, and challeging endeavor. It is , however great to be alive, and we all must treasure each day we wake up and start fresh. There are so many incredible options to explore if we allow ourselves to let go of the inhibitions which bind us to our daily routine. Perhaps I am preaching to the choir. I hope so. ....My Dad, who I have visited in Colorado 3 times in the last two months, is dying from chronic alchoholism. His internal organs are destroyed, his once brilliant mind is now befuddled, he is incontinant, and now he is my child to care for until he passes away/ I have to make the dowmstairs bedroom/bathroom safe for invalids, hire a full time nurse, and watch him pass away. We all die. It is part of life. It is funny though, how it seems so traumatic when the person is a loved family member. We at least have the ability to not grieve for our own impending demise. Moreover, our concerns are seated in the wish that those who love us will not be filled with grief and remorse. Most of us anyway. My Father was in his time, and still to this day, a very charismatic, movie star handsome fellow. This made him as arrogant and selfish as a person could be. He was not a good father, my mother divorced him decades ago, but still I love him dearly, My Dad is my hero. No one else earns my devotion more than my Father. My Son and Daughter , 22 and 25, have been told by me since they could speak is that the most important thing in this world is your family. This is a tough subject,. Frankly, there is no other place I feel comfortable in sharing a painful situation. RWG has given me a hobby which I love. Our Norwegian CEO is a kick ass individual, and I thank all of you for making RWG am awesome, international hangout. Be well, and live in peace my friends. photo is "Okie" my hybrid wolf/Siberian Huskie. Why cant dogs live as long as people?
  14. Takeyama San, Great watches. Dont worry about the photo thing. You said Andrew was your dealer, and anyone can see what the watches look like on his site. Your enthusiasm pleases most members here, so dont let the grumpy minority get you down. Enjoy your new Pams!
  15. Welcome! Our leader is also a Norwegian. Great people. As a transplanted Swedish Finn, It is good to have another scandinavian on board. Enjoy.
  16. Welcome, Seems like you are off and running. Excellent taste in watches mate!
  17. Yes, it is dangerous, but a helluva great place to run your credit card up a bit, If you are new to the rep game, your timing could not be better. The quality, price and selection of reps are incredible. After 7 years in this hobby, it has grown to a near science regarding how well they make these watches. Read the reviews, the best reps start at around $225.00 Like anything, you get what you pay for. Enjoy the hobby!
  18. Welcome to the best watch site on the WWW. There are some great people here.
  19. \ Fantastic! The watch looks amazing as well. The vintage crystal is way cool. Where did you pick up this beauty? (the watch)
  20. For 47MM, the 127, 217, and 187. every one a classic
  21. Rep straps are not that great, and the screws for the lugs on rads have always been a pain. I put a small drop of locktite infor good measure, as it wont fall apart and with a bit of force you can change the straps. The 380 is a super rep otherwise/
