  1. How about a notice that says any bidders who do not follow through with their intent to purchase, might start getting used to the taste of hospital food?
  2. Looks awesome , Don't worry what anyone else thinks.
  3. I just got around to fixing this and due to Farmers diagnosis, I was able to repair the watch myself rather easily. I took the crown guard off, which actually was not needed, as unscrewing the back with a ball of duct tape, gave access to the small screw that engages the winding mechanism. It works perfectly now. No watchsmith needed, Thanks to the RWG community for the help.
  4. I like the look of a destro on my left hand. The Graham is like that only much more clunky looking. The clean lines of a Panerai make give it an elegant appearance,
  5. Thank you Farmer. Your explanation makes sense. Should I remove the crown guard to accomplish this?
  6. BTW this post has nothing to do with Humpty Dumpty, All the Kings Horses, or all the Kings men, who might consider putting Humpty together again. I merely want to fix my 219 Pam with an asian 6497. For a 275.00 expense, am I asking to much? Guess I have been lucky so far.
  7. Hello. Where is my Jello?

  8. Aloha, be well and keep buying watches until your mandibles squeel

  10. I am not Clutch Cargo, although his photo appears here. Clutch saved my family from the wreckage of a sinking, destroyed battleship, and gave his life doing so. His children receive a stippend of 2000 rice balls on the anniversary of the sinking.

  11. Has anyone had their 219, 005, 0r 177 from the new HBB factory, found that the crown disengages, and will not reingage, causing the watch to stop functioning? My 219 from Trusty has.. This morning I was winding it and when I pushed the crown back in along with the lever guard, it was stuck in the time set mode. I cannot wind it as the hands spin around.I tried to gently press the winder into the case, with no luck. It ticks but will not run. This is a new one for me after 5 years of collecting. If anyone has a fix, please let me know. Sending back to China is not what I want to do. Thanks in advance,
  12. The elevator door opens and you see a dozen people inside with their faces scrunched and twisted. You think, perhaps they see that you are possesed by Satan, but upon entering, the reason for their discomfort becomes all to clear. Some foul creature has let loose with a beer and limburger cheese fart. This is just plain rude. No doubt the perpetrator was the only person smiling in satisfaction. Having a degree of style and aplomb includes refraining from cutting the cheese in the lift. Thanks and happy trails!!
  13. I hate when that happens. You lose something, and are sure it is stolen, only to find it later. Of course finding it provides much relief, but the anxiety of losing a cherished new possesion, can twist your day inside out. Glad it was a happy ending. Leave your watch on in public places, particularily when it seems to be a $5000,00 timepiece.
  14. NEVER buy a Gen watch sight unseen online. The 30 you save could be the $5,000. you lose.
  15. Nice job there Lad. Being titanium, it will always have the color of the metal, but what you did makes it look fantastic. Nice tip. @ the 7750 fellow, I have owned 8 of them and 1 broke down completely. That was a Graham Chronofighter. My Hublot is working beautifully after 5 years. The 7750 has not been any bother, and the chrono function still works for days. I forgot to turn it off but it kept right on beat. Perfect time..Worry not
  16. I don't think you can get a better case from anyone else that is as good as DSN's 232. I have a 232 from Trusty, which I like, however the DSN my friend has is better quality. You could mod the DSN I suppose, but as it is, the watch is pretty damn close to the gen. I have always wondered why the 232 is not as popular a rep as other pams. DSN has the lugs down pat and that is what is wrong with most other copies of this classic design..
  17. That downhill skiing shot is spectacular. Nicely done Andei
  18. Awesome looking watch! Congrats Seraphe
  19. Very Nice! Congrats, The new line of Pams are amazing!
  20. Babola, your reviews reviews are always the most accurate and comprehensive. Thanks for taking all the time to do this one on the 288 Radiomir. Seems like this is another must buy among the new breed of Pams which seem to be made really well at long last.
  21. Andrew has answered all my communications in the past 2 weeks within 12 hours max. This seems very odd that you would be overcharged. Is the receipt for the purchase the same as what was paid? I cannot think Andrew would jeopordise his charge card payments for an extra few bucks. No doubt this will be remedied. Dont worry.
  22. Your 219L looks as beautiful as the one I just got from Trusty. The strap was nice but on a Giovanni figlio 5mm leather, it is awesome. I am truly amazed at how great this watch is for the price. Pams are my fav and this one tops the charts! panerai-pam-219-l-luminor-base-destro-44mm-stainless-steel.htm
  23. Because beautiful women say to me "You have a beautiful watch. You must also have a beautiful slab of manhood and I want it in my mouth in and out till you shoot your man gravy all over my face". That sums it up for me, in the most humble terms.
