  1. +1 The 5513 is pretty "cheap" in the Rolex vintage world. Making a franken is not worthing the cost IMHO. Plus there is a lot of 5513 for sale these days... Just my 2 cents
  2. I want to make a big thanks and a great thumbs up for torresp, who is helping me a lot with it's 1570 silver DW... Thank you very much my friend, it is much much appreciated :) R.
  3. 100% fake / very bad redial. Just look at the positioning of the dots. All is wrong, not aligned, ... Printings are awful... I'm pretty sure my grand-ma can do better with some tip-ex... You should prefer a "true" aftermarket dial...
  4. I personally think it will be difficult... I have not the size of the holes in memory, so I can't say if it's possible or not. But if it was me, I think it will be better to buy some good aftermarket hands, and go for a re-lume for the patina... Plus the dial at the same time for a perfect matching... To me, gen hands without gen dial & gen movement is a non-sense, because you must damage the gen dial & hands to fit the ETA. Pretty bad if we consider these parts worth a lot of money this days...
  5. Good luck :) If you need help about French <-> English translation, just shout me a PM !
  6. Wow ! I drop you a PM right now my friend :-) torresp is probably one of the kindest man I've seen as a buyer
  7. It is 100% gen my friend :-) MBW dials are not accurate in many ways, and are obviously not Tritium :-))
  8. My BK GMT II is #F520117. I have gen bezel construction (accepting gen insert), so I guess mine will not accept gen crystal. Not a real problem if you consider you can change the mag lens
  9. Thank you B. ! I was firstly thinking about making a 1665 DRSD "Patent pending" but... this dial have changed my mind about it :) Plus Natalie is not answering me... Maybe it is destiny !! I will use Phong case, as usual... Never seen any other case with Rolex specs. And I am wearing a MBW 1665 atm
  10. Thanks !! :-) I hope it ! It is very rare to see a Tritium 1665 dial in this conditions !
  11. Hello RWG :-) This is long time I have not posted here... So many problems to finalize my projects ! Short version - it is very difficult to find someone to assemble my pieces ! But I can't stop to buy new pieces... What's new in is a fully serviced 1570 with date module (not pictured - who cares), and this beautiful 1665 SD "Great White" Tritium dial Mark II with some very light patina. Not cheap, but I think it worth the cost... :) Please enjoy the pictures (with my other pieces "waiting"...) If anyone have these things... I am currently looking for : - Gen 1570 siver date wheel - Gen T39 "Superdome" - Gen "ghost" 1665 fat font insert And anything "1665 related" ;-) Cheers ! R.
  12. Very good choice mate ! Even if I prefer the 16520 look ... R.
  13. IMO, it is perfect But, the case back is too much damaged, it's almost impossible to do this in real conditions R.
  14. I have tried : - contact form on the website - e-mail provided in this thread I can't see any NDT related stuff on the bay right now
  15. Same for me, I have no reply of my 2 contacts. First 1 week ago, and second the 20th. Well... I think I will change my projects if she does not answer at all... Thanks guys for the confirmation I'm not the only one to do not have answers
  16. Not right now, I only have the 1570 cal. without hack right now I'm talking with Phong about the case (special order), it is difficult cause of PP case back & thin case
  17. 1665 DRSD Patent Pending :) With Phong case, 1570 cal., NDT dial, 700 crown, etc But she seems to do not answer to the e-mail too... That's strange !
  18. Hello This is my first purchase from Nathalie, but the contact form seems to not working, as I receive no answer ! Please let me know if you have her email ! Thanks, R.
  19. Useful info here ! Thank you guys
  20. I know this bezel.... Great parts ! Especially the big red dial !
  21. Thank you all guys for your precious inputs, it is really appreciated I will see with The Zig for now if he can source T these days...! To be honest, the lume is not a purpose to me ! But, one of my purpose is to have a "living" dial. As cib0rgman said, Tritium is "creating" tritiated water (also known as super-heavy water), witch is very corrosive. And I'm pretty sure only the Tritium can "create" the great patina / corrosion effect we are only seeing on gen dials. What we are seeing with luminova based-mixture is not really "living", and I bet we will never see any kind of "real" patina with luminova. This is why I'm pretty sure reluming a "vintage" dial with Tritium is the best way to create a "real" and living patina in the time And if it glow - no problem, I'm relatively young, and I can wait until it stops glowing... And then, I hope to see a great patina created by the Tritium contamination
  22. This is exactly what I am looking for Thank you for your precious input ! I didn't known about the unavailability of the Tritium into the watch world... I agree with you about the glowing - I'm not looking for a "torch glowing", but just natural glowing when you are "activating" the Tritium with a powerful source of luminosity. Just like my gen 1601, for example Anyway, I will PM The Zig to know if his mix is available or not !!
  23. I know about the radioactive effect of Tritium ;-) But in case of a vintage project, luminova is not an option, and I bet Tritium is still used today for re-luming... Maybe with more carefully than in the past... This is why I asked the question :)
  24. Red, just for curiosity, do you know about the age of your Tritium (in other words - does it glow) ?
