  12. Dear All: Anyone know what's different between a GOLD & NICKLE 2836-2 Movement? Best Regards
  13. Why not choose the "Ultimate PO" 45.5mm ETA Gold 2824-2? I don't know what different between GOLD & NICKLE 2836-2; But for myself I don't like Nickle.........It look cheap
  14. This's mine, ordered yesterday on the way. Any comment?:
  15. Nice strap & nice watch; I just order my UPO 45.5mm SS bracklet yesterday. Where did u get your strap? Strappedfortime?
  16. Hi There! I have not sure the slipping hand problem is what I'm going to explain. But I try my best see whether I could help u out or not: More of the GMT rep are use 2836-2 movement; as Rolex EXPII they're 2 version before: 1.) Wrong-Hand stack model ~ the hand arrangement are from the bottom to top GMT--->Hour--->Minute--->second 2.)Correct Hand stack model ~ Hour--->Gmt--->Minute--->second. Please be remind that the 2nd one "correct hand stack" version is a BAD modified 2836-2 movement; The Zigmeister had did a review of this movement before & it's potentially PROBLMATIC. Several member here report this model have got a slipping-hand problem & most of the factory had already stop to provide the model anymore. In Gen Omega & Rolex GMT model; GMT hand should be right on top of the hour-hand. So I guess your dealer try to info u that (I GUESS). Which version u going to choose is up-to-u; if u need a reliable movement Go get Wrong Hand-stack model; If u need a good looking & don;t mind the potential problem of the movement Go get Correct-Hand stack model. But I need to remind u even the Wrong hand stack model; the GMT function are NOT ACCURATE. U will found it slow around 15mins after several days. Because I owned a EXPII wrong hand stack before; beside of this the movement is bullet-proof & work great for me alomost 8 month Non-stop (On my wrist or On my watchwinder) Hope this could help u out there; I also looking for a TRUE & Reliable GMT rep for myself. But until now I haven't find it. Some new release like Chopad Chrono with GMT or PAM Ferrai GMT are use 7750 movement; but I'm still not sure 7750 are really can work as a real GMT movement....... P.S: I recommend u to study the "Knowledge session"; Mighty The Zigmeister wrote many different movement review Or study "By-Tor" review. U will learn more about watch, movement, rep or even gen Welcome to the new world; hope u enjoy your hobby! Best Regards, Raymond
  17. Dear Folks: I'm hunting for a SS watch for myself as I sold all my rolex: LV sub ,EXPII for my daily beater in this hot summer (It's no good for my PAM113 & 3717 both are using leather-strap). I found this http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=1401 very interesting; because it use ETA 2836-2 rather than 2824-2 which provided from most of our well-known dealers. Any comment about this MBW? If comare with Ultimate PO 45.5mm ETA, which one is better? All your wisdom & knowledge are mostly appreciate! Thx for help me out! Best Regards, Raymond
  18. AlanT: As I know; factory already finished the prototype of the CD 2007. It's very simliar except the backcase, dial colour , hand colour , Inner-bezel colour. However; all the Gen 2007 model will be release on NOT early than coming September (Information from AD lcoal in HK). So, factory is going to wait until the Gen release for finalize their rep. Be patient...... P.S: I'm worry about the CD 2007 orange inner-bezel will be the MAIN Flaw; because on Gen orange are different colour tone at different angle...) Best Regards, Raymond
  19. Hi there! AlanT: IMHO; your local dealer selling the CD too expensive price. So far I know the CD common flaw: 1.)Inner bezel misalignment problem 2.)Dust inside the crystal (came from inner rotate-bezel; I believe the painting of bezel not so good at all) 3.)Date-Day Wheel misalignmet (Absolutely lucky draw; some are good & some are bad) 4.)Dial misalignment problem (It found from some member photos; U should notice that at 12:00 marking, the triangle, inner bezel marking) I also like CD; but I still hold my decision until Angus release the new 2007 CD "Orange Bezel" see whether the watchmaker fix the above problem or not in new version. I almost pull the trigger on HBB Black magic; after read the comment from mighty The Zigmeister. I don't think it's worth USD$7XX for such quality & so call "super-Rep". Bad rubber-strap, Bad design Deployant-Bucklet not comfortable for daily wear, Sticker on Rotor....Most important : I need to spend USD$100 more to servicing. USD$8XX for a rep is really INSANE (according to the quality). Check this out: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Big-Bang-or-big-Bust-t35938.html Best Regards, Raymond
