The rehaut id grey, same color as the dial!
And this is true to gen.
From the pictures it looks like an updated dial, cool!
But anyway, the factories still refuse to do the watch in titanium, what a shame, they only need a bezel and a bracelet....although the strap-version would be fine first.

Thanks for the information....saw it on one of the AP forums.
My question for the factories/dealers was allways : Why not use and produce a plastic case, with 2-3 different plastic colors to gain the effect of the carbon....that solution should be cheap, light and kind of easy to do as we see 1000s of CASIOs and other plastic-case watches.
I don
I was asked that questions now many times before...here is my allways similar answer:
Go for the SILVER Themes with bracelet and additional strap....you can
The VDB engraving looks very good, a cool idea that is.
You should only do real PVD treatment to the case and have the steel bead-blasted upfront to get this matte finish.
And if you do black hands and SUPER-LUMINOVA dark-grey numbers....you will have the Dark-Knight of Military
Anyway, great idea...go ahead with your plans.

If you are searching for a SAFARI you need 2 things to go for (as mentioned anbove):
1) should be creamy-off-white dial
2) you deffo need a new strap for the watch...APBands has good alternative, sometimes you find a used OEM on the Bay.

Looks great, I love mine as well.
Did you buy a ROO APBands strap for it or a RO???
Errrh, and BTW, the RO chrono rep and the ROO rep have the same size ... 42mm (the gen should only have 40mm).
Cheers

On some watch-strap combinations I had to drill the endlinks to make the strap fit.
But it seems all the sec@12 endlinks can differ from one production to another.
Theo
I have some of both models.
....all my sec@12 had to be serviced over the time (costs around 100 EURO).
Believe you cannot Franken this case.
There are dozends of dial-variations to choose from.
....all my sec@9 run like champs without any issues.
Case can be used for Franken-mods.
There is only one excellent example of a nice MBW...thats the blueish-grey stick marker dial.

The new models have sloppy drillings for the bezel screw-heads....but if you manage your dealer to chose the most acurate pice with fitted screw-heads you can also buy a newer model with upgraded movement for the center wheel (jeweled).
