A little bit of oil (special watch oil or the oil used for sewing-machines) will do the trick....oil it, bend it a bit, clean it with a fluffy cloth. Theo

Don´t wind it manually....these movements are supposed to work with the rotor....only gently shake and wear it! The QC pic from the timing machine does not mean anything at all....the watch has to be worn-in for a couple of days/weeks and the timing will set-down to your behaviour of watch-wearing. BTW...it also depends how you put your watch at the night....crown down, crown up, laid flat, face down....has all an influence on the timing! Have fun and enjoy it, cheers Theo

Royal Oak Offshore Ultimate Grand Prix Carbon
MADRED7 replied to Mickey Padge's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
I don't care too much about accuracy inside....but I would rather get a decend New ROO (or Legacy) than this carbon fake. BTW...this is FAKED CARBON not FORGED CARBON Theo -

We will see the ss version with the PVD coating that should fake the look of forged carbon (FC). I researched myself for a similar way to achive the look and feel....but beside using a plastic case, ss PVD coat was the only option. Anyway, the platinum and gold version are both much easier to do as they only use the crown-guards in FC, the rest is Titanium, Platinum, Gold. .... mmh, so lets wait and see the outcome. IF the factory really took 6 months to develop this watch, I expect they won´t release it half-ready or only 90% accurate Theo -

The carbon model should be very light, so ss is the wrong way here. Better chances for the platinum version, and I do like the blue dial better anyway. Theo -

The GP has got same dimensions as other ROO...in fact it will wear smaller due to the dark case color. This is an ok first attempt, still has too many obvious flaws like: No brushed titanium for pusher/crown parts Tachy should be rosegold Color of subdials is too dark .... these are just a few. Hopefully they'll do the gold and platinum version as well....not a friend of forged carbon. Theo -
Allthough I do like Aarons straps....when it comes to accuracy and fit, you cannot beat APBands straps. The fit-to-the-case is the most evident....Aarons straps have "rounded" ends for the case attachment....whereas APBands fit 100%. I would sign-in for APbands newsletter and wait for their next SALE....you can at least save on shipping! Theo

Woops...eagle-eye....I am trained but cannot spot a rep from that far....but I do assume "rep-or-gen" by looking at the owner! Theo

I second the words above....find a wise and talk to him in private....just respect the dealers wish if he asked you not to post the pics. Theo

The Black Themes is just the internal AP name for the ROO with a blavk face. Theo -

Believe it or not...the gen ss bracelet is only a tiny bit thicker than the rep one....the clasp sucks on both! I would go for the ss bracelet version when ordering the Black Themes and get a rubber replacement set. There are some rep straps that are from fine quality and at least APBands sell a huge variety of different leathers and colors. Theo -
I like both pictures....she looks hot with or without tattoos....beautyful girl, no question. Theo Can we see more girls with tatts here?

Now the PAM390 is a watch we should be able to purchase as gen.....price is just OK. Theo

The H-factory zero looks better ... the finish of the case and dial looks way more professional. Theo

I love the ALL BLACK Tourbillon as well....for my taste the indizees should be/remain black or silver. Anyway....it´s only gone up in price...the replica market is one I don´t understand.....the demand declines but prices rise...huh? I would be all over it for a decend price....600$ should do the trick. Theo
-
I was requesting the Tourbillon in all silver/platinum coated over and over again...I´ve been bagging for months now.....answer is allways NO. The factory is too much stock of the gold version but the demand for the gold one is very low...the ceramic one sold better and you have to search them....so no luck for silver in the coming months. ALLTHOUGH I don´t really get it.....they have all parts ready beside a silver dial.....just coat it SILVER...done!!! Theo

White rubbers are to be had from APbands....be quick as they have a sale for LABORDAY2011 and you´ll get 20% off your order....will save you some bucks on these 140$ straps.... Theo -
Don't store them on a winder.... buy a nice 6-watch box from the bay. Theo
