The set of screws for the EoD are very different from those you need for the straps of all other ROO´s ... and the TD had a hard time to source them for me....but give it a try and best would be to send them a pic so no misunderstandings might accour. Cheers Dr. Theo

I allways liked the MASATO ... it has an elegant appearance with it´s color combination with a twist of bling....just right for my taste. But I second your thoughts....you´ll need a new strap for it...let me recommend Mario from ORLOFF straps, he does a wonderful work, uses high grade leathers and the attachment to the case is the very best (similar to gen or APBands) as he uses plastik inlays under the leather...his prices are reasonable and the only con does not count here me thinks...he dos not offer hornback....but the MASATO needs a more ellegant strap, a matte black croc with double red stitch...awesome! I still have my serviced V2 and still love it, will sell it for cheap if needed ... as V3 is out of stock currently, I wait for V4 Theo

Nope....this model was a pure fantasy watch but very nice (the case was too big, caseback wrong, dial wrong,...)... sold out at the dealers but you might get lucky with a WTB post here. Theo

The decission is on you, but there are lots of choices ... look at our trusted dealers offers, they all carry the same watches, alas Angus promotes many AP ROO´s with updated datewheel color and AR on the cyclops. Theo

Me really thinks that there has been a Titanium version of it : 25721TI.0.1000TI.02 But I do like the watch and finish but I second your words; with that bead-blasting it turned even more into a scratch-magnet! Theo

At the AD (Authorised Dealer) you will get OEM rubber straps in black, white, blue, brown and .... thats it. At APBands straps you will get rubber in creamy white, blue, black, red, yellow, orange and grey....good value. At ORLOFF straps you´ll find rubberized leather, the straps look great and I think he can get you any standard color. Theo

There are a lot of brown hornbacks or crocs floating around.....blue is not that common for straps. Theo

... and please don´t forget to look for the following: - rep straps from e.g. the Singapore GP, Montoya, TourAuto 2010, Rubberclad, Boutique Driver, ... all worth a look as they don´t look too rep! - handmade straps from Aaron at HKTans.... good value for the buck, only the strap-attachment is rounded instead of edgy....no 100% fit - handmade straps from ORLOFF straps, he uses plastic inlays for the strap attachment....that looks way better, prices are very reasonable, no hornback me thinks. - Jabob has done some pretty nice stuff as well in the near past....never saw one of him in the flesh though - look out for used gen straps on the bay and on the big, well-known watch forums. good luck Theo

WOW...cool result....I once had an AP ROO beat/pearl blasted and achived a cool Titanium-style look on stainless steel...only downside: it´s a scratch magnet from now on and will collect scratches by only looking at the case Theo

Stay clear from the NAVY.....the dial is not white enough and the rep-hornback is a joke. Theo P.S.: OK, the rep-hornback on the Don Ramon is even more of a joke....but you can find nice alternatives.

PURETIME seems to be down since 15 hours now.....maybe that was a reason for lack of communication atm as well. Theo

.... and to add one cosmetic thing....the gen AP ROO uses a special kind of kautschuck/rubber ... that material will get shiny, like patina with the time wearing it....the reps do not achieve these results (looking close to the bezel edges and the chrono pushers you´ll see this shine). Theo

I am in the same boat, waiting for an updated white Dial for his Jumbo .... but I think this will never ever happen. Theo
